I’d honestly hate to see it destroyed. A lot of history and culture there. However, lots of crime there. It’s sad because it provides affordable housing for a lot of people, but I understand it from a business perspective. The area needs more community outreach to help lessen the crime. If the crime would go down, it would be a good low income housing complex. Lot of systemic factors at play here.

They ought to have life skills classes, that the residents have to attend, to continue living there. Turn two apartments into classrooms and them right there. Classes that teach cooking, sewing, conflict resolution, sex education and require them to attend school and get jobs.
