That Hypnotic Pouson you have looks like a 2005 version which was AMAZING. The new one is a bit reformulated, but still good. Great video btw.
It is really old but still smells so good. I haven’t tried the new one, but now I’m curious 🧐

@@milja476 if you like sweet but soft tropical smells, I highly recommend the bronze goddess line. There are 3 or 4 perfumes besides the oil. 💗
Wanted to try and buy Gold Sugar, but omg… $155 ! 😭 I’ll buy my 5 OZ. V&K flower bomb for $200 instead lmao. You have such a great taste in scents.
I’m so bummed they stopped making it. I find it for outrageous prices from private sellers online, and I’m just not going to pay that for it. I agree, get the high quality brand fragrances you love instead. Sounds like you also have great taste in scents too. 😉💜
I am also a spicy gal. I struggle to find spicy daytime scents that aren't overly sensual or heavy, which I usually satisfy with burnt-sugar scents. I really want to like florals and fruits but so many feminine fragrances in this realm are either too clean or too immature. The only thing I've found that is floral yet super buttery is Perfect by Marc Jacobs- very versatile, not crazy yet very unique. I am the same with you with musk- there needs to be a warm backbone. At the same time, anything by Mugler overrides all of these hangups.
I recently got a new Valentino perfume as a gift. It is spicy, sweet and floral and it’s really great. I have my eye on a couple other too, but I’ll wait till I add a couple more to my collection to do another perfume video. I’m going to go try your Marc Jacobs. He has some great fragrances and I am a sucker for the packaging and the cute lids on the bottle 🙈. Thanks for watching 💙
Ive been seeing a lot of people saying they love the versace crystal noir, but to me it smells like sweat for some reason. I bought a bottle, gave it a couple of chances but in the end I just returned it.
Ah that’s a bummer. I have bought some in the past that were terrible and I tried to like them. One was a Prada perfume I bought after smelling it in a magazine. I wore it two times and swore I smelled like my 80year old grandma. I think our body oils and pheromones play a huge role in how the scent smells on us. I gave that perfume away. Sorry the Versace didn’t workout for you. 💙
You should try Alien Goddess by Mugler, I think you would like that. It has coconut and vanilla notes.

I love black opium. It’s on my list. I have a tiny sample of the bright crystal, but it’s very different than my usual scents. I want to branch out so I’ll keep trying it. Thanks for watching. I’ll be back with videos soon. 💙💙💙
I don’t tend to care for sweet or floral scents, so i find perfume shopping tricky as i feel that most perfume’s targeted towards “Women” are not for me. I love woody, musk and spicy scents so “men’s” perfume tends to entice me more but doesn’t tend to sit nice on my skin hahaha. My favourite is ‘Tam Dao’ by Diptyque. It has all the aspects I like in a perfume as well as an ‘almond’ scent which I love as a scent on its own and gravitate towards in anything. It can get a bit sweet, but done right & in balance it’s so good 😌. There’s a Burberry one ‘for Men’ that I ADORE but sadly sits too strong on my skin 😭
Oh, those notes are so good! There were a few colognes I used to wear, but eventually moved into the spicy/sweet scents and found it was what I liked. I find that I like oils in a musk. I have a Persian and Egyptian musk oil that I like, but I think there is still a light sweet undertone. I’d love to check out the one you mentioned
Yeah, niche fragrances are probably the way to go. Many of them tend to be unisex, which is my preference anyway. I can't do most mainstream women's scents either and also love woody, spicy scents, but not men's fragrances that can be too masculine and cloyingly strong. Tam Dao is a great one!
