I can say I've loaded leaf and branch waste mixed in with general waste and the J. J. Richards garbage truck never had any issues with my loaded 240 litre bins. Mind you, i tried to make sure everything was cut to fit properly and stacked so that it aligned as much as possible with the rest of the garbage. I made sure that nothing was too long tried to make anything branchy shorter than the width of the bin and cut to size properly. I threw out lots of long Traveler's Palm fronds that had died off and fallen during the night, cut and sectioned them so that they were not too long. I've never had any of the garbage truck drivers complain and the truck never seemed to have any issues compacting even the large frond base where it attached to the tree. J. J. Richards ran similar trucks to what is in this video. It's always a good idea to make sure branches are cut and sectioned properly. Makes the compactor's strokes a whole lot easier if it can always push garbage through.

Superb footage Liam this truck seamed to be a lot more speedier than other JJ Richards trucks I’ve seen a few full bins at the start and it looked like some of the 240Litre bins were gonna fall in love how you are filming in a lot different council now and it’s good👍. This long video is great and also was this one of the spares the one on garbage because it looks like a spare truck since it’s plain in signage . Anyways great video and cant wait for your next one mate. 🙂

Good video mate enjoyed seeing some Liverpool action. All the Liverpool trucks are 09 Accos mate and that truck doing the garbage is an ex Burwood/Strathfield Recycle truck.

Thanks mate yeah ithought theyd be from around then, i mean i was sure that the st george region genvs are 2009 until Mick told me they were delivered into the new contract in 2007. hey u havent been on youtube for a while its good to see u back!

@@StGeorgeRegionGarbofan Some St George trucks are 07, some are 09 because of the three contracts starting at different times. Sl 39-SL 45 are the original Rockdale unit, so they are 07, SL 63- SL 75 where added to the original fleet in 2009 when Kogarah (and a bit later Hurstville) started, so these are 09. Then you have RL10 which was original a Randwick truck, which is a 2008, the other rear loaders (RL 18- RL 21) are 2009. Then of course, there are SL 79 and 80 (now has the number 86) which where added to the fleet in 2011 and SL 91 (now a Ryde fulltime truck) and 92 which where added to the fleet in 2014. Another thing to note is that in the original Rockdale fleet, there was a Acco MKIII as the fourth garbage fulltimer. I don‘t know the number of that one but I will assume it was an old Collex truck from the Ryde fleet which would make it a 1997 model. That one is long gone though as you imagine, it ended up at Wingecarribee in the end and was presumably scrapped after that contract was lost to JR.

@@laurin4339 SL31 to SL38 were 2007 Randwick trucks, SL39 to SL45 were the original 2007 Rockdale trucks - both contracts started January 2008. SL62 and 63 are 2008s which I believe were originally Rockdale recyclers as they had the same signage the other Rockdale trucks had. Most of the Euro 4s that came along for Kogarah and Hurstville were 2009s, but there were also a couple of 2010s which included SL74 and 75. RL10 was also a 2007 model, yes RL18 a 2009, but RL19/20/21 may possibly be 2010, can't confirm at this point but. Just throwing my knowledge around :P

@@AussieGarbo Fuck, you made me realize my mistake haha, seems like I made a typo with the Rockdale trucks, now I sound like a big idiot thinking the Randwick trucks where Rockdale units 🤦 Thanks for pointing it out, I changed my comment, don’t want to give out wrong information haha I wasn‘t sure if 63 was a Rockdale unit cause it had the same signage as the original Rockdale ones but I wasn‘t aware of 62, so they actually got two additional recyclers for Rockdale, thanks for clearing that up. It did occurre to me reading my original comment the second time that some of the Kogarah/Hurstville ones probably where 2010s models. I wasn‘t sure about the rear loaders either, that‘s why I classified all of them as 2009. I do feel like a bit of an idiot now with all the wrong stuff I wrote in my original comment, especially the Rockdale stuff, should‘ve known it better and checked for any typos :P Sorry for that. Thanks for correcting me, didn‘t realize my mistake haha, one thing I always wondered that I gotta ask though, was the MKIII an old Ryde one? Seeing they got additional trucks for Rockdale in 2008, I reckon the MKIII was replaced then.

@@laurin4339 Be proud you knew as much as you originally said, half the guys that work in that contract would barely know much about the trucks they drive haha SL62 started in Rockdale and later went across to Randwick for recycling - Liam also has a video of this truck on here. I since did a successful check on RL21 and it is a 2009 model, so I'll guess trucks 19 and 20 are also from the same year. Really can't say for sure about the MkIII that used to work there, but I imagine it would have been along with the others they ran, only I guess it got done up as a proper Rockdale truck. I'm curious about exactly how they worked Rockdale in the beginning with the different trucks, because there were four 6x4s and four 4x2s originally. I imagine the single axles saw some use on garbage runs at times, maybe doing the second collection for unit blocks (units garbage gets done twice a week, same with Hurstville).

Do you have to pay an extra charge for green bin disposal Here in this Liverpool, they have introduced an extra charge of £40 a year for each green bin? I have 3 of them, plus loads of cuttings from hedges and trees, guess who will be burning a lot in the bin at the back?

Awesome video Liam! I really loved the Garbage Truck! I think you caught a spare one in action! Love how you caught all those fails! When will you be uploading the Camden footage and was 41 all you got? I’m really keen to be seeing that action ey? 😉😉
Also I can really agree with what you mean about the Cummins, it sounds amazing, towards the end that overflowing 240L had me shocked, not only that it was heavy but also the fact that Liverpool gave out 240Ls like that. Same with the 140l nearly falling in with the 240L next to it, that house must’ve had a granny flat or a lot of family members ey. Other than that, this video was mad bro! I’m awaiting more epic content from you dude !!
