Im happy Naclam made it this far. Being a Team Rolex player myself. Its difficult to make it that far with them. Im no pro, nor am I a beast, but I do very well with them considering they are considered gimmicky. I dont understand why ppl hate the animals so much? PS I use Kuma and Panda too.
Roger Jr. and Alex (Naclam) throw break y soo on point. How do they learn to do that, I can only do it randomly I'm unable to react to it its just too fast.
the actual d-pad is less user friendly than using a stick for movement, not to mention that having the ability to use multiple fingers for the 4 attack buttons allows for quicker reactions. i don't know bout you, but i can't lay, for example, 1 finger on X and one on square, they are placed too near to each other. Stick give much more room, makes inputting combo's easier, quicker.
X and Square at the same time is done by using the whole thumb (same as X+O and O+triangle)... some harder combinations can be done with the triggers/R2-L2 shortcuts Dunno, I can't move very well with sticks/analogs, much less special inputs (EWGF, Shoryuken, etc)
X and square at the same time with 1 finger is a lot less reliable than using a arcade stick to press the buttons with separate fingers. No need for L1/2 R1/2, because an arcade stick/pad is so much more precise. The larger stick itself improves movement, the larger buttons make combo's more reliable and quick to perform. It's superior in every way.
NYC Fab- Pad Fighting gm - Pad BloodHawk - stick Anakin -pad Just frame james -pad Aris - stick Kor - pad there are pros i didnt name that do use stick but to my knowledge the most successful american players use pad from what i can tell
since tekken was really popular on playstation consoles, a lot of players came up playing this game on their pads, since playstation d-pads are so easy to use...so a lot of good players use them.
Tekken games became big on Play Station rather than arcades... also Tekken is a 4 button game with chain based combos rather than 6 button/link and special canceling... I don't see sticks having any advantage over D-pads
I did not say they're bad, what I meant is that they could have compete in other countries if they're used to sticks. because global tournaments are gonna be good to watch if these top pad players are in it! Don't hate man, if you knew more about Tekken, you will be able to distinguish that sticks are more effective in Tekken. :D I was a pad player a long time. til i switch to stick. I've been a stick player for a ear now. Think about what you reply before you say something little boy.
DEFINITELY some of the best, interesting and coolest matches I've seen.
Deserves much more views. :)

I learned by the body sway movement of the character more than his hands grabbing you

Impressed with Naclam's movement. Uncommon in the west.
I love watching anakin

Anakin too strong!
5:47 nice poke war by naclam.
These players are good. the only thing that hinders them from competing against good players is because they are pad players and use button binding.
If you knew anything about Tekken you'd know its better played on a pad. HOA isn;t your average player, he's the best, if not one of them.

Cyberg101 it's easier to play on pad but for precise execution sticks are much better
yes that true in america for the most part
Have to agree with ya right there
american players like playing Tekken with the D-pad?
this comment is so original...
Americans are more likely to have a console than an arcade at the moment. So yeah, there are pad players.
"90 million" lol
Bear jew? Lol.
Lol jew
Garbage scrub game, Tekken is where it's at.
