The expensive bolts are always the ones that're hard to get to and/or remove if they're broken. The cost isn't the bolt itself, rather the typical things that add cost to anything, time, labor, tools, and potential fixturing.
I'm gonna take a wild guess and assume that the bolt is going to be something that isn't easy to extract without drilling, enlarging the hole, and tapping a new one for a helicoil. Which more than likely makes it engine and transmission related, and considering this is an engine swap project, it's probably mounting between bellhousing and the transmission. Something that's not easy to access in the first place, difficult as all hell to extract without major modification, assuming the bolt hole can even be safely enlarged without sacrificing structural integrity, and a difficult job to mount onto a machine unless you have one with a ridiculous amount of work volume. This is the most logical outcome, especially as studs are put into blind holes, and typically they're not large enough in diameter for typical screw extractors, especially if the rod is deep in the hole, which means potentially sacrificing a long left hand threaded tap, or just outright drilling the entire hole out.
It's either that or a body mount for drivetrain or suspension-related components. Again something that isn't easily accessible if it's a broken bolt in a nut, though logically all of these mounts should be studs, where everything has to be done by hand. Similar situation, different components.

I’m sure you won’t see this comment, but for the sake of safety, do not do any soldering on any of the wiring coming from the module that controls the airbags to the airbags. They rely on resistance readings from the wiring for self checks and they are super super sensitive compared to the wiring for any engine components, that soldering or repairing a wire could increase the resistance enough to cause that airbag to blow as soon as everything powers up.

Its really common for the wiring to be burnt an plugs to be broken the fact that you'll have actual O.E part numbers to order from is a plus. I heard some mechanics tell a story once about a new guy working on a Subaru and he forgot to disconnect the negative battery cable and then he pulled the ECU out and turned it over. Well, the car thought it flipped over in a wreck so all the airbags deployed. He had to go to the hospital, lol.

It’s funny how cars now a days snap together like Legos ...I remember doing stereos in cars when I was younger and needing to take out 600 screws now all I need is a plastic pry bar set

ROB DAHM you need to order a brand new steering wheel ABS system clock spring instead of ordering the harness. The clock spring usually has the harness built in and should be the same price without having to splice wires in. But this is a brand new car and I’m not too familiar with this setup soo if you think you just need the harness go for it! Also you will want to pull the ABS computer module out and have a company flash the branded crash codes out of it so your ABS light goes off and I’m sure you know how to test ABS crash sensors on the front , use a multimeter to make sure you have some form of resistance and that will confirm you won’t have any more problems with the ABS light staying on on the dash. Reason to test is when your car starts the startup sequence the ABS computer goes around to all the airbags and checks for resistance to make sure things are functioning and are able to be armed and ready in case of another accident.

In his earlier C8 videos he said he was going to try and use the original drive train from the clutch back. Honestly, Rob should forego the turbskies and keep the 4-rotor N/A. 700-800 HP should be plenty for this car and would have the least amount of impact on the engine bay. That engine puts out a _lot_ of heat Rob will have to manage either way.

14:20 .. those are not "safety connectors" or "safety clips" .. the red gizmos are called Connector Position Assurance (CPA) devices. They are there to assure the line operators actually mate and latch the connector .. the CPA can only lock when the connector is fully mated and latched. If a CPA is not locked, the line operator did not do their job properly. Also be careful with those airbag connectors, those are a new type.. the red ears must be fully lifted and held lifted while unplugging the connector.. if ya just pry off the connector, it most likely will be damaged and need to be replaced (there is a special tool for lifting those red ears that makes the job easier).
