I thinks its great that even though you are hiking "together" you each are still hiking your hike, at your own pace, with prearranged check-ins! Best way to hike ... alone, yet not alone.
Thank you for letting me know. I kept having to take down my video to fix clips that were off. Sorry about that. There’s a huge learning curve making RUclips videos. I literally spent 12 hours straight yesterday editing 😩
Thanks for posting! At 60 with some disabilities, hiking vicariously with some of the RUclipsrs is how I can enjoy some of these trails. I especially like the plant and birdsong identification. Didn't like the [mostly] obnoxious electronic music. I wish I was in a place where I could do trail magic!
Thank you for your comment! I’m very very new to RUclips and limited access to music on my phone. I’m working on that but thank you for your feedback :-)
California Bluebell has a cousin that grows in the same area. It looks similar but less bell shaped. I've seen them growing next to each other. Parry's Phacelia (Phacelia parryi).Video 10:12, Whipple Yucca (Hesperoyucca whipplei) is not a Yucca. It's other name is Our Lord's Candle. You missed the Brittle Brush (Encelia farinosa). It kind of looks like white sage but it has spade shaped leaves and is covered in yellow sunflowers as opposed to the white sage with elongated leaves and flowers grows on tall stalks. Two bonus bushes Chamise (Adenostoma fasciculatum) is similar to California Buckwheat, but grows taller and has lighter small green leaves of similar shape. Ceanothus aka California Lilac, and White Thorn is a large bush will see early on trail, within a couple of miles, and it is in bloom!
Durston Xmid pro. Been using Durst intense exclusively for over 2000 miles. I love everything about it. Zero things to say negative. Join the Durston gearhead group on Facebook for more info. Super cool group 🌻
I really enjoyed the flower identifications!!!
Thank you 🌻🌻

Yessss! Just how we will do it when we get out there someday (hopefully soon) 🌻
Well done Wildflower! Enjoyed this!!
Thank you soooo much! It ONLY took 12 hours to edit 😵
Practice makes perfect. It will be fun to look back in a few months at how much I’ve improved 🌻
Thanks - was a good video to watch!
Awww. Thank you so much 🌻
I got notifications for three *unavailable* videos but did not get a notification for this one that was available.

I think I saw California bluebell’s cousin! We talked about how it wasn’t as “bell shaped”.
Love the info. So Whipple Yucca is not a Yucca ? 😳
Please tell me about your tent. Which model? What do you like most about it? And, what do you like least about it?
