Love this video. The monsters in the mind . The guy is reaching adulthood where the monsters really come to bear. He runs and turns a corner. It dawns on him that he is in the presence of the biggest monster on the wall but it also appears that the monster might be protecting him. This monster is the church perhaps. No, this is not protection. He is being lured into a trap. He escapes in the nick of time. Finally a young child hands him a drawing of a monster. That child is him as the child disappears. To erase the monsters in our mind we need to time travel back. Our memory allows us to do just that. We can rewrite our history. We largely remember our dark past and those strong feelings. We can reframe our past. The wrong can lead us to the right. Our job now is to not repeat history. We are now wise. We were abused but we are not victims. We are leaders. We right the wrong.

This song is so underrated. It's SO good.
While, according to Wikipedia at least, the song was written for paranoia, it works equally well for really anything where you feel trapped in your own head by your thoughts and feel like your struggle to keep afloat is crumbling. Absolutely beautiful song and brings me to tears each time.

I can never get sick of this song. I don't know just how to explain it, its just so beautiful and original. Never heard anything remotely like this. It's the perfect song for relaxing and exercising. I can't even put into words how this song makes me feel. Its just stunning. I literally almost cry from the beauty of this everytime I hear it.
