I feel so sorry for Prince William and Princess Catherine. If we are frustrated with King Charles’ weakness in dealing with family issues, can you image how frustrating this must be for them?

There probably more upset and horrified by everyone attacking a 75year old pensioner who is undergoing cancer treatment.
It would be hard for William and Catherine to become King and Queen. They would have to backstab and betray their father, and would have a ton of responsibilities whilst their kids are still in school. Remember Catherine is undergoing cancer treatment herself, seems that would be a lot of pressureon her.. Like the Queen's children, like Charles and Diana, they would no longer be able to spend much time with their children.
Very good point! King Charles needs to do what's right for the Crown. I enjoyed this interview. As an American, I absolutely believe they are going to Nigeria for business reasons. There are natural resources in Africa that would be very lucrative to their finances. As for the pregnancies. I had two epidurals, and there was no way I would have been sent home within two hours of giving birth. No way. There are so many eyebrow raising things about the pregnancies. The people of the Commonwealth absolutely need to have proof that those children came from the body of the duchess. It is critical to the line of succession.

True. I wore baggy clothes starting when I found out I was pregnant. I wore maternity BDU's during the week because I was in the Army and they were designed for the largest belly possible. Only someone trying to prove they are pregnant would act the way she did. I never wore a coat because by the time I started showing it was summer in Texas.
I was so warm when I was pregnant (over Christmas in the UK) that I didn’t have to wear a coat at all, but, I couldn’t stand tight clothes over the bump as they caused irritation.

A few weeks ago William dropped of Charlotte to, obviously her friends birthday party, which was at a restaurant, pizza place. He walked her in, no fuss, drove her there, no bodyguards. His treatment of Harry now, is carrying on the Queen's wishes. You are completely misreading the situation. Charles takes his monarchy very seriously, he understands the meaning of "duty" and made heartfelt vows. Do not underestimate him. He saw little of his mother who became Queen too early, when he and Anne were very young. He wants William to have time with his children, providing them with a happy and stable childhood, before William bears the load of monarchy. H&M will be the responsible for their own downfall - just give them enough rope......

True! I have a carseat in my car and don't even have a baby. It's for my grandchildren who only ride with me occasionally. It's usually once a month or so but moving a carseat is a pain in the arse and it's important for it to be installed correctly.

My own opinion is that I am doubtful they have any child/children living with them. I think Archie exists, not sure about Lily, but neither child lives with them. Parents do not leave their children as much as those two idiots do, even just out and about in their own area, nevermind the travelling to different countries at anyone else's expense. This is why I am skeptical that they have any children at all.
IMHO both children exist. I am halfway into this conversation and I have to tell you, I do not think Charles will be there much beyond the age of 85, which will make William 51 when he becomes King and that is a good age for him to step up. By that time his children will be 15, 18 and 20. So many commentators have gone on ad nauseam, how our late great Queen was unable to give her children as much of her time due to her responsibilities as she would have liked. By having William step into the role as of last year, he would have been 40 (he turned 41 last June 21), he would have been too busy to have much time for his wife and children and with Catherine's illness, I am very glad William is NOT King at this time. His family needs some of his time at present.

Having no kiddy seats in the car has always struck me as something a non-parent would overlook. But the horrible alternative is that if there are children they are NEVER taken anywhere in the car - ie, they never go outside the house and that’s unthinkable, no interaction with the outside world! I prefer to think there are no kids.
Isn't this horrible, if there are kids they are in a sick narcarist lock down because mom and dad messed up and no one is stopping them, a powerful man in the UK isn't even able to stop this sick behavior.

I think the best way to handle the succession situation is for the RF to just quietly remove the children from the line and if anyone starts complaining, all they need to say is we need proof, otherwise they will remain off the line.

For example, he invented a dramatic story in his book that he was alone at school, when a palace official coldly rang to tell him his great grandmother had died. Actually, he was in Switzerland where his father had brought him and William skiing for their Easter holidays, when his great grandmother died.
Definitely the crown should not have skipped Charles. To be King is a big responsibility. When William becomes King he will see a lot less of his family because of all the demands that will be placed on him. Let him raise his family. He is doing a great job.

I have a question. How many people who have middle aged children are able to permit or deny them from doing anything they want? I know people with teenage children who cannot control them and their actions or decisions. It’s wild to me that people keep saying things like “King Charles should stop him from……..” I have 25 year old daughters and they make their own decisions about how they live their own lives. How does that work when the 40 year old man, who doesn’t live on the same continent, makes a decision about where he’s going?

One of our daughters was pregnant when I first started down the rabbit hole known as the Markles. The end of 2019 as our daughter was entering month 8 I started having her ‘recreate’ Markles antics. She is the same’ish’ height 5’2” but isn’t boxy like Smegz, she has a dance background and has done yoga and Pilates since she was about 9 years old, so she’s flexible and agile. Contrast that to our 5’9” daughter, who was able to deep knee, NOT in stilettos though, at 8 months easier than her sister because she has more torso for baby to be pushed to. The argument is always ‘but Kate, but Kate’. Yes, Kate can deep knee bend while pregnant, in stilettos because she’s a rockstar, because she has more torso area for her baby to adjust to. Even then, her knees are not locked together as Smegz were.

Hi, I'm British and I really don't mind Charles taking his rightful place in the line of succession after Queen Elizabeth died, it's just very natural, and is what was expected. The British people are mostly fine with King Charles, as it's not a personality contest on the world stage. He has a mountain of experience to fall back on, and in my opinion it works for us as a nation. What's wrong with age and experience? I would have been saddened for William and Catherine, if Charles had abdicated in favour of their youth, as they are too busy with the important business of raising their little family (and a future King) and giving them a solid base in which to grow into their future responsibilities. They are also working with their charities and Duchy responsibilities, but we don't really see the behind the scene activities, it just carries on. I agree the King needs to sort out what to do about Harry, as public opinion will fail him if he doesn't. I don't agree with you at all, that the King is thought of negatively across the Commonwealth. Britain is a changing place and if Commonwealth countries choose to leave, then so be it. The late Queen did an amazing job establishing something that had mutual benefits for all members, that's why countries choose to join ( and they weren't all part of the Empire). H&M were so disparaging about the Commonwealth in their horrid documentary, calling it Empire 2.0 and yet here they are wanting to swan around it in bullet proof tanks. No contact, other than the uninvited 'mercy' PR dash, for which Charles didn't alter his plans to leave by one iota. Had he wanted to meet with the son, he could have delayed his flight, but didn't. No offer to join them later. No offer of Royal accomodation, Henry had to find an hotel.
There are now mutterings of a meeting on 8th May, but the King will be hosting a garden party that day. No invitation to Henry.
We shall see.
