  • Linux serial terminal: agetty + picocom running on the same computer over serial crossover cable at 300 bps. Slow but still usable :)

    True 300 baud is smooth af, i suggest you try that out

    First, you have co configure agetty to listen serial port. Next, you have to connect two serial ports with crossover cable. Next, use picocom or minicom to connect.

    How did you configure the /dev/ttyS0 port?

    I got this when I type the picocom command: FATAL cannot open /dev/ttyS5: No such file or directory. Did you type anything before you use picocom? Thanks.
