Reminder that it doesn't have to be the exact same technique to be a counter, it's about similarity and energy. If you disagree, then you disagree with Osis, Adi, D-Low, and I imagine the majority of pro beatboxers
i disagree because you are basically saying other dude's routine is easy when you try to counter, but if you think is easy then you have to do it just as it is or really close to how his routine was or even better, in this ocassion adi wasn't even doing poly voice wich i think is what makes that osis sound so good and unique, so because he wasn't capable of redoing it how it is his counter stays really short in comparison🤏and so is wack, that's just my opinion...
@tintobruh._ because of the fact that everyone there (including Osis himself) recognized it as a counter, I think your perspective doesn't really hold up, but I suppose it is an opinion so go off. But again, not a single pro beatboxer would see this and not call it a counter
I'll agree with both you and the second person partially. Countering can be both energy/ beat and sounds in my opinion. Alexinho countered Two H sounds but put in a different context. Napom countered River, Adi Countered Osis, River countered Hiss by stealing the flow and the energy, even though the sounds used were less complex/different.
@@abhisheknair8437 For sure, I won't argue that just using sounds can be a counter too, my apologies if it seemed like I was saying otherwise. King Intertia countered ZVD once by doing the inward bass into double voice combo, but he did it via throat tapping instead of the double voice technique. While the crowd and judges appreciated it as a counter, ZVD was visibly unhappy with the counter and was clearly saying that it didn't count on stage during Inertias round. All that to say, I think this idea of replication not imitation is a mindset that new school beatboxes are more likely to have, AKA the sweats, lol
overall judging in bbx battles is all over the place bc unlike sports there's no guidelines in what will be taken in consideration, same happens with counters, for you this counter may be legit and for many others but for me and many other people is not a counter or at least not really a good one

Doesn’t sound nearly as good as Osis so not a good counter to me
It was a good try. But osis is better 😂
So nasty
Not a good counter, the first part was consistent, after tks brother was trash 😂😂😂
Blud did not counter that
I was gonna say, not the same sound
If Osis himself approved no other explanation is needed. It's obvious he won't land the exact same sound.
Apaan coba
I remember when this was cool now its literally just a bunch of kids making noise on stage. That was fucking noise.
Not cool bro, not cool
Just because you’re too simple to understand more complex beatboxing doesn’t mean everyone else is too.
@zachdude4284 🤣 There's complexity then there's annoying
Adi bruh the king of the dubstep is overused now 😅
