Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway 'END of SEASON PARADE' - 28/10/2017

The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway rounded off its 90th Anniversary season in fine style over the weekend of October 28th & 29th 2017 with its annual 'END of SEASON PARADE'.
The two-day event saw eight of the railway's locomotives in action hauling both stopping and non-stop expresses in single, double and even triple-header combinations at times.
The locomotives in use were...
- RHDR 'Greenly'-class 4-6-2 No.2 "Northern Chief"
- RHDR 'Krauss'-class 0-4-0 No.4 "The Bug"*
- RHDR 'Mountain'-class 4-8-2 No.5 "Hercules"
- RHDR 'Greenly'-class 4-6-2 No.7 "Typhoon"
- RHDR 'Greenly'-class 4-6-2 No.8 "Hurricane"
- RHDR 'Canadian Pacific'-class 4-6-2 No.9 "Winston Churchill"
- RHDR 'Canadian Pacific'-class 4-6-2 No.10 "Doctor Syn"
- RHDR DH Bo-Bo No.12 "J. B. Snell"
* "The Bug" was substituting for the unavailable RHDR 'Greenly'-class 4-6-2 No.3 "Southern Maid" which was under repair.
