@@HunterOfGremlins98 Well, it is not like it worked well to begin with. I mean, you would notice a grand piano parked in a garage, perception filter, or not, and that was just after the Grandfather Clock fiasco. Because a simple scrap dealer noticed that he had two Grandfather Clocks, when he should have had one delivered for scrapping. Because if the TARDIS has the chameleon circuit going, the perception filter is not.
Doctor Number 6 fixed the chameleon circuit way back in Classic Who. Then he discovered he could never find the tardis anymore so he just locked it into police box shape. But the circuit isn't faulty. He just shut it off.
Not necessarily. The Judoon are hired police, that only directly work for the shadow proclamation. So they’d only deliver certain criminals to the prison. Presumably run by someone else.
Frankly I think the angel is more impressive. Aside from the memory thing, a silent shouldn't be too hard to capture. Annoying, sure, but not actually difficult. I mean, the silents can shot lighting iirc, but that's probably less likely to kill a judoon.
Reminder that Jack was originally supposed to have an encounter with the Headless Monks but they didn't get around to fitting it in beyond one vague mention. Basically headcanon for most fans. The 11th Doctor visited that blue guy who said his vortex manipulator is fresh off the wrist of a handsome time agent, and then grimaced at the container because it was still on a wrist. The blue guy eventually became a head in a box. I think 11 used that vortex manipulator during the episodes with the Pandorica and the universe ending.
Ah yeah, in the series 5 finale we meet Dorium/BlueGuy with River, who makes an exchange to get a Vortex Manipulator which as you say, has a wrist on it still. Then 11 got to use it in the episode after. River is given it back and keeps it after that episode. Then in a good man goes to war in series 6, the doctor personally meets Dorium and calls on him to help them get Amy (as well as the others), Jack was considered to appear but John’s schedule couldn’t allow it, either because of Torchwood miracle day or Arrow, I forget which one. As of Fugitive of the Judoon, jack had his Vortex Manipulator again, so he got it back from River at some point (I’m screaming at that idea 😂)
Characters like Robertson have been in Doctor Who from the start. There are always humans who believe that they can make a deal with the Daleks, Cybermen or whoever. The greed is something the aliens look for.
The scene where Yaz, Graham and Ryan confronted the Trump guy by the car was filmed outside my university halls of residence in Cardiff in 2019. So it was filmed well in advance of the COVID situation.
I understand Melanie and Aaron can sit close because they live together. But it looks really funny to have Calvin all forced perspective and tiny in the background.
I feel like one of the only fans of Doctor Who who just enjoyed this episode a lot. No, it wasn't anything special but I just enjoyed the ride from start to finish.
I really like Yaz... and I also feel like she is one of the companions that just won't give up the Doctor willingly. Which makes me a bit sad becaus I suspect there will be a moment when she either dies or something similar to Donna/Rose will happen to her. Something will just prevent her from travelling further so we have at least one sad moment coming up.
@dr103 that would actually be a really interesting way for her to go! Because the doctor hates being alone so they normally do everything they can to stay with the companion so would be really interesting for the doctor to sacrifice having the person in their life for their own safety. Would be a tragic callback to how Donna left.
It's not possible for the doctor to meet a living River Song. When she met capaldi, she didn't know about the doctor having more than 12 regenerations, so she couldn't have met any doctor after capaldi before this. She then goes straight to the library and dies.
@@Riku70X Except she DOES NOT die! Her consciousness is saved to the library network. She's even already made a canonical appearance post library (chronologically speaking) in "The Name of the Doctor."
I definitely see the parallels between Yaz and Clara. However, I think Clara was more addicted to the power and adventure of being with the Doctor, and Yaz is more addicted to the Doctor herself. They said in the episode that the Extra Tardis controls were keyed to their biosigns. So if Yaz was more addicted to adventures in space and time, rather than addicted to the Doctor, Yaz COULD have spent those 10 months experimenting and learning how to use that Tardis. But she spent those 10 months trying to figure out where the Doctor was, and if she was ever coming back. Since Yaz's reason for staying is the Doctor, we may see an ending more like Martha's or Rose's, rather than Clara's.
Love this episode and loved having Jack back! Also the slight nod to Torchwood! It felt like that ending was left purposely open-ended, so I REALLY hope we get to see Graham and Ryan again sort of like Martha in Series 4. Jack can come in and stay for as long as he pleases he's the absolute best. Thank you guys for the great reaction! Been looking forward to it for a couple of days now haha.
I love that the Clone Dalek did so much work and basically conquered a whole planet by itself, but the Daleks are just like "nah, you ain't cool tho. Fuck him up fellas."
If only Ryan had an actual personality and emotions. He's more wooden than Eliza from Knock Knock. One of the most boring characters and by far the worst companion. I did really like Graham, and Yaz has a lot of untapped potential that I hope gets more development.
@@BlueSparxLPs agree to disagree then, Ryan had many good emotional moments (every moment between him and his father in resolution was especially well played). And I honestly don’t believe he was wooden at all, he can only do so much with what sometimes feels like very blunt and expositional dialogue. Yaz and Graham have similar “wooden” moments, it’s bc of the scripts. And Ryan does have a personality, I can relate to him a lot in some particular moments.
I don't think Yas is like Clara. I think she's like Martha. Smart, capable, eager to learn and go and see things, and utterly, head over heels in love with the Doctor who has no clue and isn't interested. Total side comment - remember in Husbands of River Song how she said Capaldi reminded her of her second wife? We know she married Cleopatra. Could Jodie be the second wife?
Also forgot about river song lmao coz now according to chibbers logic River song can’t exist 😂😂 imagine doing that to one of the most important characters in new who
Too late for character development with the departed companions but I hope they do make something out of the fact that Yaz is a police officer. Even one line that between seasons Yaz went to the same training facility that Ace did or something would be appreciated.
Dyspraxia, and they actually mentioned it a few times throughout the series. As someone with it, it doesn’t affect 100% of my life but it’s super similar to what I saw from Ryan.
@James Fisherkeller Sure, they _mention_ it but it feels like lip service - when the plot needs him to be totally unaffected by it he is, as if by magic. Then we're reminded at the end that he can't ride a bike. And River's existence is an issue because she became part Timelord (i.e. gained the ability to regenerate) the same way the pre-Chibnall Gallifreyans did i.e. she was somehow changed by the time vortex (in her case by being conceived there). Except _now_ the Gallifreyans explicitly got regeneration by gene therapy from the Timeless Child. So how did River get it ? It's not _impossible_ to come up with an explanation but it IS a plot hole until they do.
Seriously guys, do yourselves a favor and install the Channel Blocker plugin. It makes it like Michael McGrath never existed. In fact, I pretty much forgot he even exists.
I was honestly waiting for him to leave. It's weird the actor's acting skills make him look like he doesn't care, but the scenes when he has a proper heart to heart with another character he does a good job. Yaz and Ryan, Ryan and his dad, Ryan, and the Doctor, they were all good scenes I just wish the actor and writers put that effort into all of Ryan's scenes.
The only good actor is Bradley Walsh. And the ratings prove that noones really watching it anymore. Lowest ratings in 30 years since Jodie took over, and dropping. When her and Chris eventually go, the ratings will improve. And not because its a woman, but because of their politics and attacking the classic Who fans.
@@AzguardMike LOL'ing @ "politics." Every complaint using the terms "politics" or "sjw" never seem to be able to explain themselves in detail. How convenient.
HA!, I never knew you guys watched these, that's me at 13:39 getting murdered by the dalek, freaky as hell, they were totally remote control, when I asked the guys about where I was getting shot (shoulder, head, stomach etc for reaction) and an idea of what it feels like, they said "Imagine every bone in your body catching fire at once, go with that". Was a fun day, even bumped in to Captain Jack as I was on my way out, really nice guy, as were the rest of the crew.
They'd almost certainly consider it a spoiler. They don't watch "next time on..." previews for the shows they watch and usually scramble for the remote when one pops up.
I imagine Aaron purposefully left out the new companion stuff so the rest of them will be surprised, since he was reading Twitter, he most likely saw the name of who the next companion will be.
They never watch stuff like that. They consider them spoilers. It's why so many of their reactions have one of them scrambling for the remote before a "next time on..." scene pops up after episodes.
They have announced a new companion, it was right after the show aired in the UK. It’s just a few mins long and you’ll find it on the official Dr Who YT page.
It kind of feels like Graham and Ryan are doing kind of like what Martha went on to do after leaving the Doctor, except there is no Unit for them to join so who knows if we'll actually see any of it.
Unless they meet Martha and a certain Lethbrigde Stewart descendant. They all may found Unit again. Maybe Jack goes there with Gwen, where Torchwood is a deep op section of Unit. It would be a terrific unification of those two entities.
The really funny thing is how obvious it is that this episode was written back when the rest of Series 12 was made, with apparently nothing done to amend the dated stuff (however much could have been done with the pandemic still going). A female PM with a near-fetish for the word "security" in an obvious spoof of Theresa May, an unironically positive portrayal of Harry Potter after Rowling permanently trashed her reputation, and Chibnall seems to have been betting on Trump winning reelection and setting up Robertson to be an even more direct analogue for him in future seasons. It'll be interesting to see if he still tries to do anything with that last one.
@@kennystephens7098 When biologists talk about gender, it's a synonym for sex. When most laymen talk about it, they're talking about a sociological concept that has absolutely nothing to do with anatomy, genetics, or biochemistry. Even *if* biological sex were a pure dichotomy (which it isn't), that's not what anyone is talking about when discussing gender identity. Don't equivocate. (Also, you're using the word "psychopath" wrong. Psychopaths, by definition, feel no automatic empathy for others, and must consciously work to figure out how other people feel. Anyone defending trans people is therefore inherently NOT a psychopath since they are acting out of empathy for others.)
@@kennystephens7098 hi nonbinary person here! trans people exist and are valid no matter what they look like or how they identify, and the fact youre citing basic biology as the basis for your argument when basic biology completely disproves your "reality" really just says you dont know anything about what youre saying.
@@kennystephens7098 Talk to me when the overwhelming academic consensus no longer affirms that trans people are valid lol, bc right now you're just saying simple sentences even though science disagrees with you
@@kennystephens7098 I didn't say reality is subjective. I said the word "gender" has multiple definitions, just like the word "run" does, and you're talking about one definition while everyone else is talking about the other. A bit like if I said "I just exercised and now my calves hurt" and you responded with "you're stupid, that makes no sense, calves are baby cows and you can't hurt them by exercising". In the study of logic, that's called equivocation, and it's a massive fallacy. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt by assuming you're not doing it on purpose, you just don't realize that you're talking about a different thing than everyone else -- if you ARE doing it on purpose to try to make yourself feel superior without actually addressing anything anyone else has said, then that would just make you an idiot.
Yeah - they’re planning s late 2021 release too, but we’ll see... Will 2022 have a New Year’s special, I wonder? Or a different one? Or just the rest of Series 13?
I like to think of it as turning racism back on its users. I mean the first time The Master had been using Nazis as tools to intimidate people as he searched for the Doctor, knowing full well that history of cruelty and racism that got them their reputation. Gonna play with Nazis and racists might as well learn what it's like being on the other side.
@@spaceboomer564 Exactly. It's an absolutely classic Doctor solution in fact - use your enemy's attributes/weapons against them. Venusian Aikido baby :).
I feel that this special should of been 2 hours long. More time on the story with The Doctor and Jack breaking out of prison. Have them work with the other prisoners we saw in this episode to break out. While that's going on, have the companions deal with Robertson's Dalek drones without The Doctor. The drones should be just drones controlled by the clone Reconaissance Dalek. Rather The Doctor contacting the Dalek to come to Earth, it should be the Reconaissance Dalek. The Daleks exterminates the clone dalek because of impurity. The Doctor and the gang use the drones to fight off The Daleks.
There could never be a "new" Davros character. Not only was the original one the creator of the Daleks, he's been instrumental in preserving their race throughout multiple timelines and is basically their version of Zeus.
You guys had some of the exact same reactions I did, I love it! Feels great to have new Who! Can't wait until the next series starts, whenever that will be!
They started filming in November and they said it would take 10 months. So the absolute earliest we would get it is late September, but probably October.
Really loved this one. Not without its flaws, and it suffers a bit by being the goodbye to characters who never fully got their due, but I think it does a lot of legwork to earn its emotional moments, the Daleks and Jack are great, and Robertson is a riot.
agreed! I liked the goodbye if only because of the great acting by the main cast in the scene- and the main threat of the episode and its resolution felt like a return to form for the show. I hope the next series continues this stepping up. I love jodie!doc and while I wasn't a huge fan of some of last series' developments, I still am enjoying this run as a whole.
When talking about whether or not Graham and Ryan are going to come back: 22:33 "Especially with them having psychic paper." "You can't just give them that and leave [no future appearances]." Meanwhile, Clara and Me have a Tardis. Jenny has the power of regeneration (although, she has been in Big Finish Productions). So, while they could, it's not really guaranteed that they'll make a future appearance.
When I first saw that the plan was to trap a bunch of Daleks in a TARDIS and then hurl it into the Void I immediately thought "Genesis Ark", which would be a really neat closed loop paradox if these Daleks were the same... but then they just up and crushed the TARDIS with them inside and I felt so let down. What a wasted opportunity.
@@anonymes2884 Yeah that is kinda fucked up that the Doctor would just straight up murder a TARDIS like that. Though on saying that he did also let the last one get sucked into the Void in Doomsday, though that one may have been unavoidable anyway due to it being steeped in "Void Stuff (assuming that the Arc actually was some sort of TARDIS, which I guess it may have not been). I guess the Doctor only cares about their own TARDIS then?
@@Hawk_of_Battle I think we could reasonably assume the prison in 'Doomsday' was just dimensionally engineered - AFAIK it's never described as a TARDIS proper (i.e. having a TARDIS matrix etc.). In the TARDIS graveyard in 6x4, it doesn't occur to 11 that all of TARD-Idris' "...sisters are dead. That they were devoured, and that we are looking at their corpses." until she points it out so yeah, maybe the Doctor just doesn't care about any other TARDIS. Must admit, it didn't immediately occur to me either during 'Revolution...' (I was initially just happy to see the TARDIS with a working Chameleon circuit go since there'd been rumours they were changing the exterior and that'd be one way to do it in-universe). (more likely Chris Chibnall just overlooked it IMO but that's a boring real-world explanation :)
Glad you all enjoyed that. I wonder if the 3D printer dalek file is floating around somewhere in virtual/digital space in the Whoverse......those black daleks looked pretty cool. A great NY's special.
Great reaction guys, I’ve really missed watching you all, watch Doctor Who. Also, it’s good to see both halves of MelRon on the DW crew. P.S I may not like the Timeless child choice but I 100% agree with Eric at 50:23
OMg, this episode was so amazing, I really enjoyed it. I'm sad of the lost of two awesome companion, but like Martha, they left on their own, and could return when ever too.
They also prefer to not know much about anything involving the shows they watch (hence the name *Blind* Wave) and that's also why they knew nothing about Jack being in the episode and Ryan and Graham leaving. Which I prefer because seeing their authentic reaction is really entertaining.
Not only do they usually avoid spoilers/previews but it'd likely also mean nothing to them (the way the companion preview was filmed it was obviously meant to be "Ta da ! It's John Bishop everyone !" and for the most part, to people outside the UK that means nothing more than "Someone I don't know has been teased as a new companion").
If you count Ruth having a police box and then being forced back into a child which creates what we know as the first doctor who steals a blank tardis and then it becomes a police box it feels like that added with whenever the tardis took human form and saying that she stole the Time Lord it seems like the tardis likes the police box just as much as the doctor likes the police box.
There's also the TARDIS disguised as a tree in where the Doctor last left her TARDIS. Maybe the Master's TARDIS is somewhere on Earth, because we don't know what the Doctor did with it after Spyfall.
Ryan "I've just got the sun in my eyes" with the sun clearly seen behind them. Also, why do they travel 200 or so miles down to South Wales to practice cycling on rough ground? (that location is not far from me so I recognise it)
So going to miss Graham and Ryan. I'm still surprised Ryan went back on the whole fist bump, but I guess they took the relationship to a whole different level anyway. If there's a character who needed more development was Ryan, and I agree with Aaron, I kept thinking the dyspraxia should've had more of a climax, but they left the door open at the end for anything to happen. I honestly enjoyed this episode! Plenty of comedy, new tech, new direction, new character dynamics, great twists. I was glued to the screen the entire time!
Since The Doctor gave Ryan and Graham psychic paper, I want to see a spin-off for them kinda like The Sarah Jane Adventures where they're off doing their own thing to help out The Doctor and Earth as a whole. I think that would be pretty great!
Great reaction, there was a little after teaser trailer, i'm from Liverpool, England, grew up with Doctor who, little tease ties to my home town and a great person, worth a look.
In Shadowrun and Cyberpunk, you could get a cyberware installed that was basically a kangaroo pouch where you could store things that wouldn't show up on scans or inspections. I'm beginning to think Jack has one of those, but likes everyone to think he's making jokes about pulling things out of his ass.
So, just to explain, one of the theories from back in the 11th doctor's run, many people had a theory from one specific scene. We see River go buy a vortex manipulator from Dorian Maldovar and he says "it's fresh off the wrist of a handsome time agent," implying they are dead. However, another new thing we see during that episode are headless monks that like beheading people and keeping their still living heads in a catacomb somewhere (like Dorian). It would make sense then that maybe the monks killed him and kept the head/sold his personal watch, but because as he mentioned before, he doesn't die but he still ages, so his head would look like the one of a person that lived for millions of years.
I like how many people are letting them know there was a preview of the new companion when they never watch the previews. They pretty much always consider them to be spoilers and think it will take away from the next reaction. They wouldn't be Blind Wave if they didn't go in blind as often as possible.
i think this is probably my favourite episode of chibnalls run, alongside the 2 spyfall parts. even though chib's writing is fairly god awful for the most part, i love jodie as the doctor and i hope people can separate the two
Mostly I hope Jodie stays on and Chibnall leaves (even though rumours suggest the opposite) so that we can maybe see 13 with better writing (and probably "The Woman Who Fell to Earth" and "It Takes You Away" for me - 'Spyfall' had its moments but also some issues e.g. much as I think Sacha Dhawan does a fine job, we've already seen the "crazy bananas" Master with John Simm, it's retreading old ground).
Still don't like that sleazy ceo guy came out on top. The Doctor obliterated Harriet Jones' career for far less than selling out to the Daleks. I feel like she really should have leaked that it was his company that caused the attack, at the least.
@@SpiderBatFan Yeah I am hearing some countries didn't get the end credit scene. This strikes me as bizar because before there was an even bigger rumor to talk about the next day (spoilers) the end credit scene was a source of fan conversation and discussion. However in the past 15/16 years of new Who there have been a few instances of one country having a dvd or trailer and the other not so maybe this is just the latest inconsistency? :)

Btw at the end when Ryan and graham say rock monsters and trolls is because people have caught them filming and it’s a weeping angel and Sontarons in the uk 👍
Oh yeah - Melanie has also caught up on episodes. It will be interesting to see you all react to it in the newest squad. For me episode started awfully - first 10 minutes of the episode with pseudoTrump was total cringe, but rest of the episode was definitely the best Chibnail story up to date. Still doesn't make me happy about Chibnail still working on the series. One good episode doesn't change the fact that most of his other episodes were genuinely bad and general direction for the series does no satisfy me at all. And talking more about the episode - I loved Jodie in that prison-suit, the hairstyle she had was soo nice. New Daleks also looked amazing.
Chibnall tries, bless him, and I do not think he’s TRYING to piss off a sizeable contingent of the show’s old fanbase with the Timeless Child and stuff (after all, “The Brain of Morbius” back in the 4th Doc’s era alluded to lives before Hartnell - they just initially retconned it to mean other stuff, and now revealed the Doctor didn’t remember)... it’s a sad truth that any story going this long (comic settings too) will introduce new retroactive details that change stuff).
This is one of the few episodes that I've enjoyed from the Chibnall era. It wasn't anything special but I enjoyed it from start to finish. In fact the few episodes I've enjoyed from Chibnall's era have all felt like that. Still waiting for that knock out episode from his era. On a different note, this reaction has made me realise how much I've missed Blind Wave's Doctor Who reactions every week.
There is still a TARDIS disguised as a tree on that planet where the human settlement was. Potentially, there are 2 others around the universe. Clara and Me's diner TARDIS & The Master's TARDIS as he probably came out of the Kassavin's dimension and went to San Francisco to get his TARDIS then went to Gallifrey. Cause when he says "All of you, in here!" He goes in a different direction from the way Ko Sharmus came from the House TARDIS.
Why did it take me this long to realize Aaron and Melanie are in a relationship...only figured it out since they are sitting next to each other...I never claimed to be the brightest bulb
kinda wished you guys also reacted to the short teaser for the new companion. Anyways, thanks for the first Doctor Who reaction in a while, which we won't get for another long period. In the meanwhile, why not react to Sarah Jane Adventures episodes guest-starring the Doctors? SJA season 3 has a 10th Doctor story called The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith, and SJA season 4 has a 11th Doctor story called The Death of the Doctor. It would be great if you react to them, if you haven't watched them already.
In all fairness the Doctor could easily fix the chameleon circuit. He just likes the phone box. He even fixed it once way back in the 6th doctors run. Became an organ I think, and a grandfather clock
While I can definitely see what people mean when they compare Yaz to Clara and her obsession with the thrill of adventure, I think it's more like she's just straight up in love with the Doctor. This has been hinted at a couple of times and her emotional state and response to things in this episode just solidifies it in my eyes. I would say it's almost obvious even. If anything, Yaz feels sort of like what you would get if you mixed Clara and Martha, where she's hopelessly in love and keeps it to herself, but her attitude is also obsessed like Clara was to a level that might be harmful to her because that's literally what was happening at the beginning of this episode. I'm intrigued to see where this leads and I just hope they don't botch it. Having more Yaz screen time would help a lot if this is the route we're going into!
I kind of see that too. But the problem here is this is the first time we see somekind of personality in Yaz in 2 seasons. And now her personality is "she is in love or obsessed with the Doctor"
@@mstevensh While she's been the least developed, you could see it in S12 already and it's very clear. It's not suddenly showing up here for the first time.
My main problem with this episode is that if it's an issue of the Doctor leaving her companions behind or not being able to spend time with them, why didn't she feel the guilt and redemption she felt for these guys compared to Amy, aka THE GIRL WHO WAITED 14 YEARS
I mean, it's also the fact that Amy still wanted to travel with the Doctor afterwards, she feels that bad here because her being late deliberately led to Ryan and Graham leaving, so she probably feels more guilty because I think this is the first time someone's left her because they got to stay on Earth for a while.

The scene where Yaz, Graham and Ryan confronted the Trump guy by the car was filmed outside my university halls of residence in Cardiff in 2019. So it was filmed well in advance of the COVID situation.
Ooh that's cool!
I understand Melanie and Aaron can sit close because they live together. But it looks really funny to have Calvin all forced perspective and tiny in the background.

Definitely.
Yeah im dreading Yaz dying. Ryan and Graham got to leave so I doubt they'd do that again.
@dr103 I wish that would be the case.
@dr103 that would actually be a really interesting way for her to go! Because the doctor hates being alone so they normally do everything they can to stay with the companion so would be really interesting for the doctor to sacrifice having the person in their life for their own safety. Would be a tragic callback to how Donna left.
It ends how it all began......

@@staceyjess8712 yea I'm sure she would have a ton of fun just picking at the doctor about being a woman now lol
I love that you can watch it together now😍
Love this episode and loved having Jack back!
Melanie: ‘ I like Graham and Yaz, Ryan’s ok’ Speaking for everyone
Not everyone! Ryan was my fave ☺️
I'm like "I love Graham, I like Yaz, and Ryan is alright".
If only Ryan had an actual personality and emotions. He's more wooden than Eliza from Knock Knock. One of the most boring characters and by far the worst companion. I did really like Graham, and Yaz has a lot of untapped potential that I hope gets more development.
I like Graham and Rayan, Yaz is just ok for me.

Too late for character development with the departed companions but I hope they do make something out of the fact that Yaz is a police officer. Even one line that between seasons Yaz went to the same training facility that Ace did or something would be appreciated.
@@aarong2253 How did Chibs contradict River’s existence? I don’t think he did.

Such a shame I never cared for Ryan, so his departure did nothing for me.
And they lost the best current character too now I'm not sure if I can be bothered to watch any more
I was honestly waiting for him to leave.

Rowling may be an asshole, but that doesn't suddenly make Harry Potter bad. You can separate an artist from their art.

Yeah, me too, as well as Class.
But I get their schedule makes it hard, least for a while
I hope they will at some point though because there's alot of great classic stories for them to see and it would be a Shame if they miss it.
Finally! I’ve been waiting for this reaction since New Year’s Day.
There could never be a "new" Davros character. Not only was the original one the creator of the Daleks, he's been instrumental in preserving their race throughout multiple timelines and is basically their version of Zeus.
I would be down for a Class reaction while we wait for Series 13
Or them reviewing the Big Finish audios of Torchwood Series 5 & 6. Or contuining The Sarah-Jane Adventures inbetween each series.
You guys had some of the exact same reactions I did, I love it! Feels great to have new Who! Can't wait until the next series starts, whenever that will be!
They started filming in November and they said it would take 10 months. So the absolute earliest we would get it is late September, but probably October.
But Missy perfectly explained the Master’s unexpected/unexplained regenerations- “Not dead. Big surprise. Never mind”.
The Daleks hate mutant Daleks more than anything else, even The Doctor.
Really loved this one. Not without its flaws, and it suffers a bit by being the goodbye to characters who never fully got their due, but I think it does a lot of legwork to earn its emotional moments, the Daleks and Jack are great, and Robertson is a riot.
I agree, I'll add that while Graham and Ryan never quite lived up to their potential, their departure was really well done.
It's average, good in comparison, to other Chibnall stuff, but you watch older episodes... It's just...

"Is this the Trump guy?"

Thank's to a lovely reaction. I liked this episode. Chibnal makes the Daleks scarier than Moffat did.
When the Daleks changed colours all I could think of was the whole Guardians plotline from Breath of the Wild...

I Like This Episode. Because of the DALEKS!!!
There's a Missy spin-off audio series where they explain how Sacha's master is after Missy
there was post credit scene. it only showed you the next companion but it was there and i thought you should know.
I like how many people are letting them know there was a preview of the new companion when they never watch the previews. They pretty much always consider them to be spoilers and think it will take away from the next reaction. They wouldn't be Blind Wave if they didn't go in blind as often as possible.
i think this is probably my favourite episode of chibnalls run, alongside the 2 spyfall parts. even though chib's writing is fairly god awful for the most part, i love jodie as the doctor and i hope people can separate the two
Spyfall is my own favorite, honorable mention to Kerblam. This run has issues but at least not all is lost

They have kids!
(I think...)
Of all the companions to stay I’m glad it’s yaz
kinda wished you guys also reacted to the short teaser for the new companion.
So good to hear some good words on this episode.
As a Finn I went absolutely bonkers when they mentioned Finland xD
In all fairness the Doctor could easily fix the chameleon circuit. He just likes the phone box.
He even fixed it once way back in the 6th doctors run. Became an organ I think, and a grandfather clock
wait... did the Doctor just killed a TARDIS?
There is post credits scene just for episode that you missed
I’ve been waiting for daysss
@@HaaruteLIVE Just a little, not a lot. Only in this episode is more clear.
@Haarute LIVE I agree 1000%
My main problem with this episode is that if it's an issue of the Doctor leaving her companions behind or not being able to spend time with them, why didn't she feel the guilt and redemption she felt for these guys compared to Amy, aka THE GIRL WHO WAITED 14 YEARS
She did feel guilty, but its not gonna be as bad as 14 years. He just said “oops” to Amy. Literally
@@jakeoliver9167 exactly, I just wish she felt as bad with Amy as she did with Yaz and them.
I mean, it's also the fact that Amy still wanted to travel with the Doctor afterwards, she feels that bad here because her being late deliberately led to Ryan and Graham leaving, so she probably feels more guilty because I think this is the first time someone's left her because they got to stay on Earth for a while.
