is this the passive duo alientech? If so whats the increase did u get in same location? I see u got 6100m what was with stock antenna? was there good improvement alot of distance more?
Alientech Pro has a booster and uses two batteries. It can only operate at 5.8. GHz. You need to lock your remote controller signal to 5.8 GHz (the controller default is auto dua bands) in order to fly or otherwise you will lose signal after flying about 500 meters or less. Alitentech Duo has no booster and has no batteries. It is light. It can operate in duo band mode (2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz). It is just a bigger antenna to the stock antenna. You should use the Alientech Pro when you have very strong electromagnetic interference such as microwave station, powerline or simply concentrated wifi emission from home buildings in the area. All other things being equal, the Aleitech Duo actually has a longer range because of the 2.4 GHz band. And it is much cheaper too. It serves as a fair upgrade to the stock antenna. You see some marked improvement, but not by a very big margin. I have both. So I know.
Very helpful comment. I have a question for you. MAVIC AIR 2. I want to land it around 1km away and put it back up. The problem is when I get around 10 meters height, I lose signal. Can the alientech give me what I need for a succesful landind and RTH after? I want to drone delivery keys from work to storage!!! (release systems dont help, need to land to take the keys).
@@fatgirlboy9341 You have to know that you pay 500$ for this antenna and the reward is about 2-3 more km, only in straight line. Also for mavic air 2, I think I lost some of HD. It works, but not even close as good as it costs.
Goodnight.! Could someone please tell me what difference there is between the Alientech Pro antenna and the Duo ..?
Is there any difficulty in guiding the device towards the drone? Because this device reduces the angle of signal spread

Yes. The test has used with ALIENTECH duo antenna. In fact, the drone can travel farther. It is only limited by the amount of electricity.
Could it be attached alientech pro signal booster after i upgraded my antenna with those duo alientech antenna?

Urban area of course.
So for 10km range, I should get the Duo and then FCC boost it from the software ? Also would getting the DJI smart remote hamper the distance ? thanks

does this have a signal booster that requires a battery like some of your other products,
or is this just an antenna?
the PRO one $350 powered amp one requires batttery but this one is the DUO passive one and doesnt have battery.
Great test. Great values. Thank you
