THROUGH A MOTHER’S EYES is a story of pain, blood and great loss. It is that rare kind of movie that will take you deep into a mother’s heart!
It is a story that will take you on a personal journey with Debbie and Steve Miller as they give birth to their son Michael, who died in her womb.
You will walk with her as she faces the death of her special son and as she endures the pain, suffering and fear that accompanied unbelievable health problems.
You will be caught in the midst of this story and wonder how she or you will survive. Based on the book by Debbie Miller.

My baby died on Christmas Day, 1990, the same year Michael died. She was only 30 hours old, born on Christmas Eve. It is very true that you never get over such a loss, but over much time and God’s help, I did learn to accept the loss. My mother told me, “When you are low, do something nice for someone else.” As a result, I gained a great compassion and was able to help many others through their loss. I am now 70 years old and have lived a wonderful life with my children and grandchildren. Although you don’t see it at the time, life does go on…. and God is Good!

My son Andrew would’ve been 34 years old this last June 8th. Through the hard times Jesus was always with me, healing me day by day. I had a great Christian nurse who went through the same experience with a still born baby. She checked on me often and also offered counseling. God’s Word and love ministered to me until the hurting was gone. God is good! I will see Andrew in heaven one day! Praise God❤
I have read several of these comments…sometimes with tears running down my face!! This movie…well it’s my story, my journey!! See I’m the lady from this movie..this film is made from my book I wrote…it’s not a beautiful story..but it is and was my journey and my testimony!! Anyone who has ever lost a child knows what I went through!! I think of my son Michael a lot and my arms ach to hold him…I know he is with Jesus and I know I will see him again one day! God bless you Debbie, I have lost 4 babies and 2 of them was born sleeping the other 2 was miscarriages after our son Gabriel was born sleeping i ended up going through cancer of the womb a year later he was born in 2009 never could go on to have any child and all through our story's are very much different i can relate to how you felt in this movie i think every mother could who lost our sweet babies. I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my face and my heart broken I lost my son at 2 days old in 2016. I am so sorry for the pain you endured losing your precious baby well life moves forward its a grief and pain you always carry within you. I was not expecting this. My son passed away when he was 33 years old, and it is like it happened yesterday, every day and never goes away. He left a son behind who is 12 years old now. He looks and acts exactly like his dad. I loved him so much. My grandson lost his dad right after my grandson's birthday. He does not want to celebrate his birthday, so he becomes sick, so he doesn't have to celebrate it.
What a wonderful testimony. Thank you for sharing. God always does so much for us. This story revealed to me today that my son's high-risk surgery was hemorrhaging. They did all they but could not stop the bleeding. He Hemorrhage after a surgery, is what my son suffered and passed because all the technology could not stop the hemorrhages. My only thing is that I was not there by his side. But thank God for the peace that surpasses my understanding. I know he is alive with Jesus. God gave me dreams to give me answers and through this movie he gave me an answer that I needed to know.

Thank you for this movie & yet it was painful to watch. I think we all go thru a period that we have given up, but God is graceful to bring us back. Thank You God, for bringing a miracle to Debbie & her family. Prayer is a powerful thing.
THIS movie is possibly the BEST I've EVER seen (and I've seen many). So touching. My mother's first child, a boy, was still born. YOU SAW them as they grew from a baby into adulthood due to YOUR HANDS OF MERCY. 🥰 YOU SAW them pursuing a career path for the purpose of obtaining the gains of the world not realizing that it is a loss compared to what YOU DID on the cross. YOU SAW them working long and laboring hard to receive justification by grace even though YOU stated, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."(John 6:29 KJV) YOU SAW the unwillingness to accept YOUR PLAN OF SALVATION THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow.
If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take.
Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned in order for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌

LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their doors until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌
If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee.
Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh.
O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. How Awesome were those prayer warriors.... come to her aid!!!! Sadly I haven't seen prayer warriors like that in a long time....

My niece died alone in hospital on 18.11.2023. She was a born again Christian. There were no prayer warriors by her side to cry out to Almighty God. She has previously lost her son at birth .

As a man I cannot imagine what a woman goes through. The pain and the hurt they go through
I like this comment, most men just think it’s nothing, especially child birth. Women go through so so SO much in life in general, but it’s nice to see a man’s perspective on things too.
This film made me cry so much because it brought back a lot of painful memories of when i lost my baby girl at 20 weeks pregnant i caled her Alice Charlotte. She was delivered on August 23rd year 2000. Its still so painful and ive suffered with depression ever since. I now have a granddaughter called Alexia Alice she has just turned six in September. We are so close we have a very special bond between us.
I lost my baby at 20 weeks. Full blown labor. Everything was fine. I was hysterical over it for a long time The grief was crippling. I think about him....and I still cannot believe it. 4/21/95.

I can relate to the movie i went through the same 18 years ago on Valentine's day i had a still born whom we also named while i was pregnant but with God, prayers, my husband's support, family and friends it got better with time. Indeed all who die without sin are in heaven. To all the mothers who went through the same indeed we will see our babies when we go to heaven one day. Lets use our experiences and testimonies to heal and comfort others.
Every unborn baby, every baby and every child,goes straight to heaven. And we are going to see them again. Every one who has Jesus in their heart goes to heaven.
In Michael's memory although God called him home early, we know that he still served a special part of Gods great plan.May each and everyone who watches this beautiful movie know that this is a temporary life and that we all will live eternally with our glorious creator. I lost my baby girl Mia Simone blessed and beautiful, a perfect angel she lived 6 days and as broken as my entire soul is that it wasn't longer I still feel blessed to have gotten those precious moments with her especially after reading all of your comments and feeling the depth of your pain comment after comment so much pain. I am just so sorry for the heartbreak of you all and through my tears as i try to form words to express my solidarity to you I just can't seem to find the right things to say so ill just say that I see you and I am actively standing in the gap in intercessory prayer for you god has not forsaken you or left you alone in this pain not for even 1 second you are his child and he loves you boundlessly!

My son died December 17, 1989, he was 1 year 10 months and 17 days old when he died a week and a half before Christmas. His 34th anniversary of his passing is coming this week and it still hurts just as much today as it did when I held his lifeless body in my arms in the hospital that night on December 17th 1989 for the last time ever being able to hold him. I did my best not to let my grief consume me and eventually worked towards being able to help others through their own grief of not only losing a but other losses as well. Oh how I miss my son so very much but knowing that he is with Jesus Christ in heaven.

This movie hits me in the feelers hard. After 3 babies, I got mine to elementary age and decided to go to college to get my dream degree . Got accepted into my dream school, go on vacation and come home with twin souvenirs. I was devastated. Already had 3 kids and twins are my nightmare, god bless those with multiples. Anyways, I wasn't happy about this pregnancy but when we found out one of the twins was a boy, I got super excited (after 3 girls). Low and behold I started bleeding around week 20. Go to the ER for them to question me about being pregnant with twins because they could only find 1 baby. I lost the boy. My karma for not being thankful. Vanishing twin syndrome. I will carry this grief and guilt until the day I die.

Wow this reminded me of going through my still birth never know that I could have survive it 😢 and after that I losted my lost baby boy three days after he was born on New Years Eve wasn't a pretty thing to go through the emotional the memories and the pains but by the grace of God and prayers and supports I could able to cope and it's been 14 year and a half years now so the pain is real.

My mother had two miscarriages and a stillborn baby so it was difficult for her! She always would talk about the baby as being so tiny and perfect whenever she held him and they buried him at her insistence since he wasn’t full term they were going to put him in the incinerator! It happened before between my sister and the brother next me since I am the youngest! However, her first and last child were miscarriages!

watching this brought tears to my eyes she is such a strong lady. I lost 4 sweet babies my first baby in 2004, with our son Gabriel being born sleeping in 2009 a year later ended up with cancer of the womb we never got to have any on this earth but i hold hope that in Jesus one day i will see my 4 babies safe in his loving arms once again. I can relate to so many of the emotions Debbie went through i think any mother that loses her sweet baby can relate all through all of our story's are different. Movies don’t usually make me cry 😭 but this one did..my now 15 year old son, his name is Michael also. I only had him 3 weeks until my Mom took him from me for being an unfit mother. But I am so glad that she was healed in more than one way by God Himself.

My "mother" sexually abused me while my Father was at work, trying to be the provider. The mother I has was like Jacob and Esaus' mother who deceived the Father in order to have the birthright given to the wrong sun and like the mother who influences the King to have John the Baptist murdered. I wish a Christian movie company would hear my testimony t show how he abuse I went through STILL affects my life at the age of 50 and how my :"mom" influenced me to get involved with hokkers and how Jesus has chosen to use that lifestyle to eventually bless me.
I am so sorry you experienced such abuse and pain. I pray that all the hurt, pain, resentment, and unforgiveness are washed away from your soul by the love and blood of Jesus (Yahshua HaMashaich). By fully forgiving your abuser you will become free. I have become free by forgiving those who hurt me. Most importantly, we are forgiven by our Heavenly Father when we forgive. It's true that bad and poor mothers exist, but we are able to overcome. I pray that you overcome and no longer look back. Look only forward to a peaceful future in Christ. God loves you. I love you ❤

That was the saddest movie I have ever seen.
My Parents lost their second child, at only 4 months of age, he had a heart problem. That was B4 I was born, he passed in 1947. Then they had a stillborn in 1963, so very sad. They got through, with the strength of each other, and family. God was with them all the way🙏 My first pregnancy, ended in a miscarriage, felt like my whole world collapsed😢 I went on and had 2 girls and 3 boys❤

I am not mad at the Lord that I had 3 miscarriages. It was sad and disappointing that it happened but I know the Lord did not cause them to die.
