Definitely. The drums suit her much better. Maybe ZUN purposely made the drums softer so that the spell card-music sync would be higher and more prominent. Raiko's final spells do sync with the music a bit.
May I have permission to use this in my Touhou Music Mod for Don't Starve Together (a game on Steam)? It currently uses the original version but I think the usage of drums in your rendition would fit more in the game. It's 100% up to you and I will not press you if you do not wish for it to be used.
I've always read the name of this theme wrong. I keep reading it as Primordial Beast~ Pristine Beast, so it's a bit confusing. I love this theme though
