    This beautiful young lady represent what the book of Proverbs say in Proverbs 31: 10-31. I can say with Candor and conviction that she is indeed exceptional. A Role model for this generation. A prudent wife is from the Lord. (Proverbs 19:14) She is the epitome of a graceful wife. God bless you and reward with the desire of your heart. God bless you both. ❤

    I can relate to their story.
    It's similar to ours. We moved into our uncompleted building when we had our second child. Straight from the hospital we moved in. It brings the best out of you and brings financial discipline.
    It's a joy to see progress every month when you do something. Every month we were doing something on the building until we completed. There's so much joy living in your own home as a young couple when you struggle to do it together.
    After that experience we learnt how to build properties and God has blessed us with many more. Obviously we made many mistakes on our first house but that's valuable experience for us.

    Extremely commendable, impressed with his wife to stand with him through the process, similar situation in Jamaica, very expensive to build. Unity and understanding is strength

    I can resonate with their story… A year after relocating from the UK, I moved into my incomplete building, the struggle is real but the feeling that it’s your house is overwhelming. It makes you work harder to get to the finish line. Instead of paying extortionate rent to landlords, move in and make it work👍🏽

    Love this couple!!!! They should start a master class for building generational wealth. Hard to be sympathetic with many Ghanaians, timid and risk averse. Scared money don’t make money. 20 years ago people laughed at you if you said you were buying in Oyibi, Aburi, Prampram, Gbawe, Kasoa, Community 25. Land was very reasonable then. Accra will never be affordable especially now that you developers catering to the luxury market. Folks need to make smart wealth decisions based on the expanding road network and highways under construction..buy in Eastern and Volta regions before you miss the boat AGAIN.

    Thank you to this couple for dispelling this myth that Africans all own their own homes mortgage free !! The majority of Africans are renting ! Can anyone explain to me how with average GDPs of about $600 / year how can Africans build homes? The luck ones inherit family land and some can buy land . African Americans come to Ghana, see several thousand buildings and then conclude that EVERYONE Africa owns a home mortgage free ! The correct question should be what PERCENTGAGE of Ghanaians have a complete house or anything close !! It takes decades to build and complete anything ! The people who tend to complete houses in a timely manner are the wealthy Ghanaians and people living in the West who have dollars and pounds ! I am Ghanaian!

    • @sali9406
      @sali9406 6 месяцев назад +4

      Yes, almost everyone in Ghana owns their houses. You can go burn the sea. Does everyone out there even with their so called "developed"...have a house? You're just bitter because you've wasted your life outside trying to pleased...and pretending to be whom you are not. You can never be like them and they don't see you as one of them regardless of what they've given you. If you can't project Ghana don't say nonsense.

    • @awuah
      @awuah 6 месяцев назад +2

      I think you miss the point . Fine the majority of Africans don’t know what mortgage is, doesn’t mean they have all built yet. But I can guarantee you that that majority dreams to own their own house one day and mortgage is simply an unknown concept . They simple start building late into their adulthood or even old age

    • @flavorsofthecontinent7195
      @flavorsofthecontinent7195 6 месяцев назад +2

      So where is the mortgage in ghana? Because in ghana every one that I know built their own homes, might take years to build , but that is how it is done . Also yes, majority in every nation do rent as well, the difference is that, in ghana u pay the full 2 years rent upfront, instead of paying monthly like in the west. So it is different,

    I do not advocate for you to engage in inexperienced people, such as an electrician. This is very serious and very dangerous. He mentioned that his electrician wasnt past 20. Im not sure what he was trying to insinuate, but an inexperienced, un trained electrician is nothing to boast about

    • @awuah
      @awuah 6 месяцев назад

      Absolutely! You don’t want to joke with the electrical wiring when building . You could set your whole house on fire

    Appreciate our beloved brother for appreciating his beloved wife
    Most African men do appreciate their wives
    Its more the girlfriend they might not appreciate as such 😂
    Still she because wife 😂
    Because Africans know that married is a union
    With patient and perseverant + plenty of love 😂
    They now have a beautiful family home

  • @rositascarborough5751

    And I am sorry but people are also tiptoeing around the political legacy of Rawlings and the string of military coups. Many Ghanaians could afford to build their homes without a mortgage leading up to the military coups. My father in law had various properties confiscated by the military junta and he was solidly middle class not wealthy, many hard working cocoa farmers also suffered the same fate. Wealth and entrepreneurship was penalized in Ghana for almost 40 years hence the reason the middle class hollowed out and collapsed and many people became renters. Those who could flee Ghana left and I am pretty sure that is the generation of Dela’s parents. So the current bulge in renters is directly related to Ghana’s failed socialist experiment. In many other African countries like Kenya, Botswana etc you have a well established mortgage market with many professionals, entrepreneurs, civil servants benefiting. Those are also countries that have consistently been market based economies.

    Saying you don’t know HOW much you spent in building is quite pathetic and reckless on his part. Could be that he’s Uninformed or new to construction.
    Also, What they mean by “Mason” a skilled worker who builds with stone, brick or, concrete.
    Anyway Great Job 👏.

      It isn’t everyone who keeps track. Plus with the rapidly increasing cost of materials and labour, their cost can’t be used as a guideline for a new project.

      Mason is like brick layer as we called it in the West (developed countries)
