What's amazing about Alysha Umphress is not just her ability to riff but her immense vocal control that makes riffing sound so seamless. It's easy to go over-the-top when riffing, but Alysha makes it a joy -- rather than a chore -- to listen to. I really hope she goes far in her career!
She has such control, a strong ear and great taste in riffs. I was fortunate to see her in On The Town and she was sexy as hell and didn't over sing I Can Cook, but definitely sold it. Brava!
Love this series but hate the camera work. Speed zooming is nauseating (especially when there's unintentionally shaky cam circling around trying to center the zoom). Also, why the heck does one zoom in on the person *not talking*? In short... STOP ZOOMING. thanks.
