I'd say for his 18th game ever since high school. The dude has shown major progression from last year to this year. Only 5 games total in the N. F. L and the progression he has shown from last year to this year is amazing. His yards for per attempt are just mine blowing numbers.
I’d agree with that, his fundamentals look much more clean so far this year. He is a big play waiting to happen and I agree he has taken nice steps for how little he’s played (really at college and the NFL). Can still clean up some consistency but he’s a ton of fun to watch
If you listen to him speak he’s exactly the kind of athlete/person that’s like a sponge. He’s very humble and knows he’s got work to do. And he’s open to any and all criticism. When you’ve got a guy like that with his skill set/potential, the sky is truly the limit
Dude the fact he blew the top off the Texans opens up THE ENTIRE field and playbook. NOBODY can ever expect what play will come next especially with a back like Jonathon Taylor, any given play could be a touchdown. Usually offenses have holes and deficiencies/limits but honestly the Colts don’t have any
@@jimirsayssponsor5844 yeah they are constructed so well. Elite RB, QB that can make any throw and is a superb athlete, great complimentary skill sets at WR. If Richardson can consistently make the defense pay when things are well schemed up, this offense will be so difficult for defenses to game plan for
I like the analysis , I have one thing to scrutinize though, the play after the deep bomb with the two crossers , it looks like his first read is the wide out who did a a slant to a curl dropping into the zone was covered by 3 players, next in that progression I assume, would be Pittman on the crosser who is also covered by the time he would have been able to find his third read who was Pierce, he’s got to defenders on his back. I don’t know the the progression but it’s the one that makes most sense. And it also is the one that would 100% lead to the outcome of a sack from pretty much any QB on that play. The problem with breaking down all 22 is typically nobody knows how the play progressions actually work unless you know the playbook. There is plenty of things to knit pick AR for , that play and plays like that where on an all 22 view of a field , saying “he’s open” or “why didn’t he throw it here” makes no sense. That “open” player may be the 3rd or 4th option on a play , and by that time you may have 2 or 3 6’ 6” DLmen in your face. So it’s really hard to critique (IMO) from someone sitting on a computer chair watching all 22 film.
Glazing. 3 throws out of 19 and yall talking about a superstar lmao. Watch the tape, he was all over the field, missed throws, had 7 balls knocked down by Texans secondary. You seeing what you want to see, most QBs can “take the top off” if you throw deep, an extra 5 yards won’t change anything.

Yeah obviously we aren’t in the huddle to know the play calls so some the time my or any other analysts interpretation of what’s happening may or may not be correct but it can still be incredibly valuable to dive into the film and make judgements about players performances based on the info we have
You said he was indecisive. That is not what it is at all. He is trying his hardest to push the ball down field like we. As cold fans have never seen, it's not in decision. It's he is holding on to his first read for too long. And does not want to check it down to. They running back because he wants to push it down field. He was kind of doing that. Most of the day when you would see him throw a late ball to a second Reed. It was because he held his first Reed way too long. Because he wants to push the ball down field. The man average 17.5 yd per attempt, which is insane. The man averaged eleven point five yards per completion which Fucking crazy
Am I the only one who feels like they purposely try to hit cheap shot him just cause he’s a big dude. Almost all of his runs someone comes in late trying to hit him in the head
Oh yeah they were doing that all game But did you see the way the colts were hitting? They were laying wood tryna get a fumble so I think it was a lot of back n forth, not so much them just gunning for Richardson
Good analysis. But he has a huge arm. That's why he sails those throws imo. In the pre-season he was doing these weird side-arm throws to take some velocity off the ball.
Yo as a Colts fan, this honestly gots me excited. We are the team I thought we were, definitely better than the Texans. AR just has to get the ball where it needs to be, and I think he will. His coaches are breaking all of this down to him too, showing him the reads he missed, and how he has to take some umph off some of his throws. Just one of these overthrows would have changed the outcome
better than the texans is hilarious. objectively houston has a better QB, a better OL, a far superior WR room, and while the colts have a better RB, it was Mixon who stole the show.
@@pluginpanda Ill do you one better, cupcake. PFF just did their ranking today and have ranked the Colt's at... #1 Wow, total shocker! Not only did they give the Colt's the overall ranking, but gave them the #1 ranking in pass AND blocking. My boy AQ giving Houston #3 or whatever is cute though!
well after playing 5 games, in which he only finished 2 of them, i'd have to say its far to early to create a video discussing it. but thats just me, i have other things to do with my time
It’s far too early to have a definitive answer on how good he is, I wouldn’t say it’s too early to evaluate what he’s done so far and how he’s looked when he has been out there!
AR has never had a resume that said he can play QB at the nfl level all his hype is based off physical attributes. Size. Speed. Arm strength. You can’t say I’m wrong either. You can be a fan boy all you want doesn’t change the facts.
First off instead of talking show where the ball was on the AD pass that was open also id like to see your briefing from Jim bob that the double move was called for when everyone else was running hitch except ADM, id also like to see how that ball wasn't in the general area you drew the red circle on lol. And AD rookie miss communication isnt good tape to show inaccuracy this does not mean Richardson like all other QB dont have there over throws or inaccurate moments but it is to say its not as glaring as you or others make it out to be. Also on the granson pass its clearly on tape that Granson slips and or trips or both and is therefore a few steps off of had he has footing would have been so this play was not inaccurate just off timing since Granson was unable to get to where he should have been and would have been had he not had the footing and balance issue but that happens and is not a major concern.
Your play at 20:24 should have been thrown left to the wide open man on the wide open side of the field lol. Watch it again dont care what the plan or read is i focus on whos open..
wow, elite overthrows, mistakes, and next-level bad judgment which is why the Colts will lose to the Green Bay Packers 12:18 is exactly why this is an accurate prediction. Matt LaFleur will absolutely exploit the shortcomings of Richardson.
blah blah blah. The guy understands what he needs to do and does it. Unlike all the rookies and Bryce Young who look completely lost out there. Richardson will improve his accuracy enough to be a great QB. In the two full games he has completed he has put the Colts in position to win and has been let down by his defense both times.
