Ross "The Boss" Friedman is a rock /metal guitar player. He was born in the Bronx, New York on January 3, 1954. As a child growing up in New York City, Ross showed great promise as a piano and violin prodigy, but when he first touched the electric guitar he knew he found his true love. He is arguably best known as the co-founder of Manowar and for playing on their first six albums from 1982 - 1988
I saw the Dictators in NYC Randals island back in the early aughts at a big festival called Little Stevens Underground Garage Fest. Many others played too, Nancy Sinatra, Bo Diddley, Stooges, and several greats. The Dictators was the hight point for me, they were electric.
