25:40 …well, 😬 there are a few things out there that they haven’t apologized for. Honestly, I wish they would apologize but I’m choosing to forgive them. Not everyone will agree with me but that’s okay; their feelings are valid. To my knowledge, Nayeon, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are the “good” ones (they don’t need to apologize). Jeongyeon is a question mark; it’s possible that it was a misunderstanding. As for the rest…I love them, but, come on…

@@dogdays7597 I won’t get into details because they can be triggering to some; I recommend to look them up if you feel like you can handle them. I will say this:
As a black person, I’ve chosen to forgive Momo because I don’t think she realizes what she has done.
For Jihyo and Sana, it’s not my culture they’ve offended, so it’s technically not my authority to forgive them. With that said, I sympathize with them because that kind of racism has been so normalized in the west up until a few years ago.
As for Jeongyeon, it’s unclear if she was making the comment herself or just reading it. Also, her reaction as she’s stating the comment is a little suspect. I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt on this one, since it’s open to interpretation.
At the end of the day, I don’t think TWICE are bad people. No one is perfect and we can’t expect everyone to know every culture in full detail. But I believe that as soon as someone knows better, they should do better. There are fans who voice their concerns whenever an idol crosses the line, but they tend to get silenced through online harassment. When that happens, their idols don’t get to learn why they’ve offended a group of people, and then the cycle continues.
