This is how they open their show. Soooo gud
HESONOO is pronounced like "Heh-So-No-Oh" meaning "umbilical cord" in Japanese. This is the first 2 intro tracks for their album. "New DNA". X-Gene started when the beat dropped. Hesonoo has a cinematic trailer called "HESONOO The New DNA" which released over 6 months ago. X-Gene doesn't actually have an official music video.

Hesonoo (Japanese for umbilical cord) and X-Gene are the two intro tracks of their first mini album New DNA, never intended to be a full song. You were right about the theatrical feel - the intros set up the narrative and theme of the album, that XG are not from this world but aliens from space on a visit. The full songs that follow:
GRL GVNG has them arrive on Earth (make sure to watch the MV as well as the dance practice)
TGIF is sort of a flashback to their homeworld where they evolved
New Dance lets them explore Earth by learning ... well a new dance
Puppet Show sees them transcending to a new level.

Honestly I enjoy how you react to XG you don’t have to switch it up. But yes they have quite a few different versions of their songs like the dance practices which are highly recommended, choreography videos, and performance videos like the one you just saw. They’ve even got a sign language version of one of their songs which is GRL GVNG another highly recommended one. But yeah plenty of Xtraordinary content to watch, if you wanna get more acquainted with the vocalists I suggest VOX #5 with Hinata, Juria, and Chisa. Again thanks for supporting XG, can’t wait for the next one.
