I love to cook with left over. I am type 1 diabetic so i have to watch all that I eat. I am RN. Its tough but im still here. I just add herbs when i make a soup. I have to watch my eyes, kidneys, pancreas. i was diagnosed at 21 so ive lived with it 53 years. I very seldom eat out. Fast food is no longer fast or cheap. Ive been keeping my sugar under 7! I use my diswasher a lot. I dislike emptying it. Same with folding clothes. Love the videos.

It is 44 in South Jersey. The soup looks very good. Canned vegetables are great to have on hand, I always have a few cans in the cupboard. Love your cooking videos, always gives me an idea or two. You mentioned putting the crockpot in the refrigerator. Many years ago, when I was still working, I would put the ingredients in the crockpot the night before then put the crockpot in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning I would put the crockpot in the heater section, turn it on and come home to a finished meal. Be well!
Just a tip due to the plumbing design of mobile homes, they can tend to plug pipes easy witch our drains do not really have real good angle leading more down ward like in a regular house. I to have lived in a mobile home for 45 yrs & have twice now had the entire plumbing flushed twice from those special plumbing companies so I do not put any residue like you had in that red pot down my kitchen sink so I dump it either down the toilet or outside in a designated place & then I fill the sink with hot water & let it drain out quickly just so the pipe does not plug as easily this was a suggestion from a previous tenant in the village, just a thought to keep in mind.
I wipe out all my pots and pans with paper towels to take off any fat/oil and then throw them away. I use paper towels that I used for something else, or I'll use cheap tissues that I buy at the dollar store.
Anna, with RSV going around, I would at least CALL your doctor tomorrow. You've been sick now for well over a month. Don't push yourself for vlog posts. Your fans want for you only the best. you can storage in freezer bags I store my soups that way for years they lay flat and I can stack them the freeze. same with most food like veggie rice even noodles.

Hello Anna FYI If you read a soup can label the sodium content will make you shudder. It is more but well worth it to buy Campbells Healthy Request its a fraction of sodium the amount of regular. Do you have a vaporizer like we used with our children it helps to loosen congestion I use mine next to my bed. You know you may need to go to urgent care. Well enjoy your soup I love your red dishes too. Red is a power color😊

It looks greart. I have been craving some chicken soup but when I make it I always add too much rice and it turns out to be a sticky mess. I think my mistake is to use raw rice, it's harder to tell how much to add. You are doing good in your little home, just keep plugging away and everything will straighten out. Spring is coming!

if you use crock pot liners you won't be working on getting burnt splashings out of the metal base. I am going to try them. I have exact crock pot as yours. Like it very much. Meatloaf is great in it. put strips of aluminum foil under and when done just lift it out. tried the stuffing in it . very good.
My cousin found the best thing for nausea when she had chemotherapy was coke and pretzels. Regular coke, not diet coke or Pepsi, but regular coke. I have used this many times over the years, it works!

Great soup for cold weather. Last night I fixed a cream of celery and potato soup to use up some stalks of celery. I was surprised how tasty it was. Served it with a grilled cheese sandwich. I love that your counters are nice and cleared. Mine are so cluttered with things we don’t really need. Enjoy your hot soup.

Any cold meds without decongestant is ok for high blood pressure, according to my doctor. I stock up at Costco...much cheaper and enough for an entire season.
I don’t know if you are having nasal congestion or chest congestion. If you are having chest congestion, order some mullein leaf tea. It’s worked very well for me and the only side effect I’ve found is that it’s also a diuretic. Take care and God bless.

My doctor was on vacation after Christmas and she got back sick 🤒. Something is going around still. I have recovered I was very sick 2 weeks start of January 2024…..fully recovered now. Thank G-D COULDNT do anything for 3 days without Tylenol cold AM / PM….. couldn’t move, wash, cook, laundry without it.
I haven't saw but a couple of your videos but the one I saw last you were getting ready to move , packing things, you were going to sell your trailer . Did you ever get to move if I may ask ?
aloha anna, wow your cold there would crack my hands like bad!! im here in oahu hawaii we had cool nippy air like mid 60s and dry air, and my hands are totally dry and cracking in pain, my hair is on the dry spell of no humidity, and when i blow dry my hair it static clings to my face and head, its horrible, when we have humid hot days my hair looks better...well..i love the cold air, ive been in snow in indiana, i love it, but my inner body and skin hates it, my mind and heart loves cold and snow but again, my hair and skin doesnt like it, sad!!!!

aloha anna, wow your cold there would crack my hands like bad!! im here in oahu hawaii we had cool nippy air like mid 60s and dry air, and my hands are totally dry and cracking in pain, my hair is on the dry spell of no humidity, and when i blow dry my hair it static clings to my face and head, its horrible, when we have humid hot days my hair looks better...well..i love the cold air, ive been in snow in indiana, i love it, but my inner body and skin hates it, my mind and heart loves cold and snow but again, my hair and skin doesnt like it, sad!!!!
