*firstly, apologies for the mistakes in this vid, my Vegas as well as my editing skilles weren't at their bests today, but I HAD to make this (: *
¤ A [Harry / Snape] video, NO SLASH but the other kind of love and wish to see someone;; in this video Harry wishes he could just see Snape one more time, while understanding and seeing the good in him. The way he treated Snape while Snape did so much for him, keeps bothering Harry in his life, and he keeps returning to the pensieve to see memories, and even uses the Resurrection Stone.
¤ Snape is like my favorite character in Harry Potter, I can't help but feel so sad when thinking about how he has lived, how much he has done and how much he must have suffered ^^ Even though he's fictional, Snape is just really inspiring. When I saw his dying scene in the movie I bawled my eyes out. (what was unfortunate because it made me miss the next few sevonds of the movie x3 )

Snape is the best character in Potter series. Like, the most complicated and deep character. And when you think about it, it's not only that he didn't hate harry, he was the only one to actually keep him straight keep him from becoming an arrogant twat like his father ( or even a bigger one! ) Snape is the reason harry grew up a decent person who had the courage to do the right thing in the end. Snape is the true hero of the books.... And Alan Rickman was perfect for the role, you need immense talent to play Snape, and he nailed it. Rest in piece... Both of you.

Im not the only one thinks that James was the real loser after all. Even if the book says that he "changed" later in his life, Lily would be better off with Snape in the end. For some reason, every time I think of the chapter "The Prince's Tale", I'm reminded of a quote from the 1st "Underworld' film. Kraven says, "Let me tell you a little something about your beloved dark father." That's what Snape is to us. He's a dark father-figure we've all had at some point in our lives, one that we initially bristle against, but always secretly relate to & often look back on w/ understanding. I like to think that's how Harry felt in the end. And yes, I do think his former professor was proud of who he grew up to be. Not that the man would ever admit so out loud, of course. It'd be bad for the reputation.

I agree that nobody beats Severus. While reading the series, I couldn't help but think that there was more to him than met the eye. The clues were all there, and I summed them up where most overlooked the facts. I cried when he died and continue watching videos with him. Alan Rickman will always be Severus Snape to me. RIP Alan!

i always hated Snape when i was younger, especially after he killed Dumbledore. but after learning his true story, he became one of my favourites and i realised how wrong i had been
Don't feel bad, I'm sure a lot of others did, including myself. I remember ranting to my friends (who had already finished the series) about how horrible he was after Dumbledore died. After I saw his memories in DHP2, and sat there like "The heck. I was wrong. Oh my god I feel soooo bad."

Snape is my favorite Harry Potter character and the one I can relate to the most (Sad as that may seem...) but I love him, even when he's being a total jerk. When I first read the books I was so torn up when I read his story. It explained so much as to why he was the way he was. Thanks for making this!

Rest in Piece my dear Alan. First I hated Severus, because he was always angry and unfair to Harry and his friends. Since TPA I love him... I can't descripe why... maybe it was his appearience in the shaking hat (Im German... and don't know the original translation. Be patient.) or it was the scene were Lupin as werwolf attacks the three children and Snape saved them...
Nobody was braver than him... Nobody could play this role like Rickman.

It shows what I believe must have happened after the war, and Harry finally comprehending all that dear Snape did for him, from the first year with the broom, from teaching him his signature spell, to saving the golden trio from the werewolf....and every year thereafter, up to and including his sacrificing his life, Snape had his back. Snape may have not liked Harry that much, but like Remus said of Harry, that he had an blinding hatred for Snape. Also, considering, that Dumbledore constantly told Harry he trusted Snape and not disrespect him. Even Hagrid, in the books did not like Harry talking bad about Snape. These people knew his true colors. Just like Snape blamed himself for Lily's death, and spent the rest of his lonely life trying to make up for it, Harry will have his own cross to bear in his realization of Snape's tremendous sacrifice. At least, Harry can go and talk to Severus' portrait in the headmaster's office. He can later tell Snape that he named his child after him.

This is lovely. I often wonder what kind of a relationship Harry and Severus could have shared if the latter had survived. It's possible he could've proven to be just the sort of father-figure Harry'd always wanted; and after he finally came to see that Harry is /not/ his father, i think Severus could have found a measure of healing in becoming a welcome part of Harry's adult life. *sigh* Oh well.

I like the slow motion scene because you can really feel the emotions by both Harry and Sev, it's really moving and very sad! I also like the scene in Sorcerer's Stone when Harry and Sev first look at each other, and when Sev looks at Harry when he says" up to something" ..Sev was always looking out for Harry but Harry just thought he was being a pest. That's why I love pensative scene so much.

i love this sooo much. at first i hated snape for hating James Potter (James sounded a lot hotter looking in the books) but then i loved Snape because he never stopped loving Lilly and even though she never forgave him for calling her Mudblood, he never gave up. I cried a lot during the movie when Snape was holding Lily's body, That was amazing

Snape Harry's father? What a wonderful secret that would be! It only occurred to me a few days ago. It's not like Lilly would advertise it. With her choice to stay with James, it would only make sense that Snape would try to suppress as much feeling for Harry as possible, it being the crux of a broken heart. James traumatized him. This video brings tears in my eyes..the man whom from the 1st day of school harry started hating, was the man protecting him risking his own life..Harry wasn't his own child, he was the son of his enemy James, still he protected him just for Lilly..This is the true love, this is the love of another level..Even after 17 years of her death his love for Lilly remains same..
However I don't think harry becomes very sad after his death even after knowing his truth bcz in forbidden forest he didn't summon him by resurrection stone..There's everyone who protected him,James,Lilly,serious, Lupin later with Dumbledore but not Snape..He never met him after his death..I really wished it from my heart that at the end they would hug each other forgiving all mistakes and no more hating each other..but it never happened..😔😔😔
