It is nice to actually see one video about Harry and Snape that isn't Harry and Snape being in a relationship with each other (these videos seem so far and few in between all the others) and you have done a fantastic job on it, you have caught Snape and his sacrifices perfectly.
For some reason, every time I think of the chapter "The Prince's Tale", I'm reminded of a quote from the 1st "Underworld' film. Kraven says, "Let me tell you a little something about your beloved dark father." That's what Snape is to us. He's a dark father-figure we've all had at some point in our lives, one that we initially bristle against, but always secretly relate to & often look back on w/ understanding. I like to think that's how Harry felt in the end. And yes, I do think his former professor was proud of who he grew up to be. Not that the man would ever admit so out loud, of course. It'd be bad for the reputation.

It shows what I believe must have happened after the war, and Harry finally comprehending all that dear Snape did for him, from the first year with the broom, from teaching him his signature spell, to saving the golden trio from the werewolf....and every year thereafter, up to and including his sacrificing his life, Snape had his back. Snape may have not liked Harry that much, but like Remus said of Harry, that he had an blinding hatred for Snape. Also, considering, that Dumbledore constantly told Harry he trusted Snape and not disrespect him. Even Hagrid, in the books did not like Harry talking bad about Snape. These people knew his true colors. Just like Snape blamed himself for Lily's death, and spent the rest of his lonely life trying to make up for it, Harry will have his own cross to bear in his realization of Snape's tremendous sacrifice. At least, Harry can go and talk to Severus' portrait in the headmaster's office. He can later tell Snape that he named his child after him.
RIP Alan Rickman. You died one day after my birthday, and I didn't even know. You played Severus Snape so well, I don't think there will be another person who can play Snape as well as you did. Wands up for our favorite actor. /* Always.

I also like the scene in Sorcerer's Stone when Harry and Sev first look at each other, and when Sev looks at Harry when he says" up to something" ..Sev was always looking out for Harry but Harry just thought he was being a pest.
