phones are made for the long run, theyre tortoises not rabbits. Not meant to push out gigs of vram for an extended time. they get HOT. Its called openmicrowave on the android and it isnt developed anymore. i urge you to see why. it is a cool novelty though.
@irascible5119 I played it for 2 hours on my s23 ultra max graphics settings at 1440p. Didn't kill my battery, no noticeable heat, it's pretty much perfect as is. It's more likely due to legality that it isn't in development anymore.
Just finishing your Original Mafia le'ts play - pretty fun. You should play the Godfather game - it's basically Mafia with an open World - it has great story, lots of minigames and stuff to collect - and I personally love this game. I think you'd like it too.

It took me like four minutes to set this up. You just copy your backup folder and then unzip it. Then, unzip the other folder after you unzip the first. It looks insane on my s22, and it had more features than my PC it seemed like 😂
it took me far longer, because for whatever reason Windows made it so my phone no longer shows up on my PC when directly plugged into any of my USB ports, i had to do it the dumbest way possible, via bluetooth and i also had to put the files into a zip folder because for some reason my PC didn't like me moving the files in their normal format while doing it the bluetooth method. which all was a pain in the ass just to get it on my phone, anyway i was finally able to install it and it works fine now, but it was a bit of a hassle and nothing like the instruction videos found online where it was easy to transfer the files, i used to be able to do the drag and drop with my USB port method, but windows decided at some point to be a royal pain in my ass and now none of my phones show up, even when i allow access via my phone when i turn on USB debug mode.
It's a shame this project isn't being continued. It has frame issues and crashes in certain areas but normally runs well. This android port definitely had potential.

You can find some other builds of Open MW on Android. Unfortunately xyzz's last build was in 2021 year. But we have other guys who can build Open MW last version on Android too:D

The performance is a million times better than the normal app. I haven't played much though. It definitely runs better, but I can't say for sure if the whole game is playable without problems.

I got 6 days total play time out of a custom version, completed every regional quest and collected every notable unique... anyone with decent modding experience can get an actual PC experience on their androids. Sadly no way to port saves so it's going to sit on my google drive until their servers die :(

I had a Geforce 2 MX200 32MB myself back then. It wasn't a very good card honestly. It wasn't very expensive either so I guess we got what we paid for. My Geforce 4 Ti4200 128MB was a very welcome upgrade 2 years later.

The port is badly optimized and isn't getting anymore updates unfortunately. OpenMW as a whole has pretty bad performance even on PC (when you consider that it's a 20 year old game). Best course of action is to just lower the render distance and resolution. I get ~80-100 fps with the lowest render distance and ~30-60 with the highest on my moto edge 30 fusion.
@@mksii But the frames stay the same, no matter what the resolution or details. When I play Genshin Impact I get the same performance, but the phone is quite hot, in Morrowind, it's barely cool, so it seems that it doesn't take too much power from GPU even if I use performance mode.
@@vesogryWhat phone have you got? I know Mediatek and Samsung exynos SoCs (mali gpu) often have bad graphics drivers and software support compared to Qualcomm. It could also be a ram bottleneck potentially.

This game could run on the original iphone, it's just a matter of being built for the platform in mind and compiling it for target platform. Not mind blowing.

If you have other quests enabled sometimes they don't pop up.

It often drops under 60. The detail, resolution, outdoor/indoor, and turbo mode doesn't have an effect on it. Do you have the same problem?
