The spiderstory is recognisable for me. My ex gilrfriend was just as afraid of these critters as you are Liz. I had to clean them up to. Love your travel videos. We love bike touring to and did our miles in Europe. Greetings from The Netherlands
Hi guys. Just found your RUclips channel and started to watch across Europe. Love every bit of it🫶 I’m a 58 year old with family (wife and 2 sons) living in south Sweden just north of Malmoe in a small village called Stehag. My wife and I are planning to start bike touring and this gives us inspiration. I also laugh allot in the spider incident. Recognize it to 100%, my wife is just the same 😆 Looking forward to the rest of your journey 😊 Happy trails 👍🏻 /Bjoern
Hello from Luxembourg! It's truly fascinating to see people exploring my backyard. I can't help but be amazed that you've taken on the challenge of the toughest track that crosses over into France. I remember attempting it myself a few years back, facing the same obstacles of the same collapsed trees in the mud pits. What a journey filled with adventure and I can't help but admire your spirit!
Spiders in France are usually not dangerous ☺, but it is not very clean when the shower area is full of cobwebs. However, France is a beautiful country to cross by bike.
Hello Liz & Alex, I skipped this episode. Each time it’s a fun and interesting moment. I learned to control my fear of spiders. I have great respect for them because they protect us from bed fleas, ticks and other parasites such as lice. Plus, they are mostly harmless. I teach children to never kill insects in general. For this, I use Swiffer wipes (initially to stick the dust) and with around ten, I can make a cocoon and for example move a moth without damaging its wings, the same with bees and obviously all insects which can bite or sting. Finally, I use a bagless vacuum cleaner. I fill the dust container with Swiffer and thus, I vacuum up one or more spiders which land gently in the wipes. Then, I empty everything outside and collect the wipes the next day. When we respect insects, we feel better. There must be energy being transmitted. I often save bees (thanks to these wipes) on the train or bus because people are afraid and kill them. Merci et bonne route^^
😆 Google maps doesn’t work as well in Europe and led us astray onto some sketchy trails. It becomes progressively worse the further east you go in Europe
What a gentleman. In every sense of the word.
Yes, I’m a lucky lady 🩷 - Liz
You two are very well-suited for each other!
Thank you! We have 16 years of practice 😊

Right?! They are sooo creepy! 😳
Great content. Is the route posted somewhere?
Unfortunately not yet. I plan to get it up soon. There’s been a lot of people asking about it, I really need to just take some time and compile it.
Great video 😊
Thank you! ☺️☺️

Great content. I’m very interested in your route. Is it posted somewhere?
@@justincampbell5249 im pretty sure alex is coming up with it as they go. there is no specific route, i dont think
my wife is terrified of spiders and mice that's why she wouldn't go on a bicycle tour for all the tea in China.
Oh bummer. Other than this day I don’t think we had any other scary spider experiences and no mice if that helps!
