- Create an easy and beautiful Steampunk Pendant with Polymer clay with this Tutorial. I love the steampunk style and for this kind of pendant I used black polymer clay, liquid polymer clay and some metallic mica powders (silver, gold and copper). Gloss varnish is also necessary to lock the mica in place. To give my Steampunk pendant a smooth back side I used a spoon. As for the gears and valves I dismantled an old clock to get imprints. The Steampunk look is easily achieved by combining pointless mechanical parts in a nice design and if you like you can further add different elements as hearts or flowers... as long as they look mechanical.
I love Steampunk. I love Steampunk games. I had to try. Enjoy!

Just beautiful. Thank you so much
Wow, very inspiring.
What brand of mica do you use and where can I buy it? Perfect Pearls does not do the job nearly as well.
Thank you! It is metallic mica very basic used for painting icons. It is bought from local stores here in Greece and it is imported from Germany, I also use "Fimo Accesoires" bronze powder.
Very nice 😊👌, does the make up stay after baking it?
Ah yes with varnish. Thank you!
HonorexXx thank you for watching. Metallic mica powders stay after baking, but just to be sure (for example, I dont know what happens if I try to wash it with a sponge and detergent) you can apply some gloss varnish.
