Crossbow will still be quite bad against humanoid bosses (like Okeania!) The bolts are too small. In my opinion, the bolts should have "aim assist" By that I mean, if they get close to the target by like.. 5 studs or something, it would automatically home in. Maybe a bit broken, but, who knows.
Its always been so..soo damn good but its so slept on. Crossbow was the first Eq I ever crafted and I regret making ballistas when they first came out.

I have crossbow rn, and it’s alright. It’s main weakness is me having bad aim, and also uh not being able to hit humanoids. Also no, I don’t wanna hear the “just use cannon with it” argument, as my brother in Christ, I DO NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES THE GET CANNON. I’ll just keep it for a few months I guess

Equinox Cannon and Crossbow is a combo weapons!
Cannon is for the small enemies (Humanoid bossses)
Crossbow is for the large enemies

cannon. if you want to be a ranger main (highly reccomend) you will want both since crossbow is so good, but make cannon
