Hi we have been to Khao Lak in Nov and Dec which we loved. About 10 years ago we went in July which we didn't like because the majority of the shops/restaurants/massages were closed. To be honest it was like a ghost town. When you went in July were most places open or closed? We are planning another trip this year in July
Hi there, we'd never been there b4 so can't really compare to any previous experience, I would say ghost town best describes our experience, we were on a 6 month non-stop asia trip so it was refreshing for us after being in tourist hot spots like khao Tao and phuket. I think similar to your experience only a few places open, just enough to cover the tourist needs, enjoy your trip, jealous 😃
Hi Michi9222, we stayed at "the Leaf Oceanside🍃 " by Katatani, a hotel/ Resort, pretty good all around, was their off/ rainy season so we got a good deal 👍
