The thing is, Rocky Balboa had never been stronger, tougher, or more determined than in the fourth movie. And... like Duke reminded him in the final round, he wanted it so much more. The training montage showed that Rocky didn't travel to Russia to win a match. He went there to rip Drago's heart out and show it to him. "Drago!! DRAGOO!!!"
I swear down,Rocky 4 has probably one of the best soundtracks in movie history. Now while I haven't seen the movie in a while and don't recall it having Eye of the Tiger it did have Hearts on Fire which was honestly a way better choice,in my opinion,to have over the training montage

thats the best version i´ve ever heard. love that crowd noise and the punches. back then i recorded some songs directly from the movie on tape so that i can hear them breath and fight, that was pure adrenaline when i was in the gym and lifted weights that were sheer impossible for my own weight :) many thanks dude

This a great David and Goliath story but trying to repeat that lightning in a bottle with Rocky 1 is impossible. Under 950,000 dollars budget no one knew who he was. It literally was all or nothing for Sly with that film.
They're different categories so it's hard to compare. The original was more a drama with boxing/action while the fourth was a high octane loud 80s style revenge - action film in a boxing ring.
This music is just epic win, if i was having a fight id want this music playing in the background...they should play it for all boxing matches and plus it would never grow old

Last year at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France, they were playing this as the entire field of cars was coming out of the Ford Chicane onto the front straight to take the green flag for the start of the race, it was EPIC!!!!!!

If Apollo‘s wife had seen Rocky in the match against Drago, who made her a widow with no remorse after Drago killed Apollo in the 2nd round of an exhibition match, she must‘ve been worried seeing a true case of David Vs Goliath and hoped that Rocky would make Drago pay by beating him in his own country.
