I could listen to Frances Mayes speak the whole day and never get bored. When she describe things, it's like I can see it in front of me. This is such a good and excellent interview.

What a gracious lady. Excellent conversation and really appreciated the host being generous enough to let her have the space to answer his questions unrushed, relaxed and honestly. Will watch again....will read UTTS and BT again.....and again.😙

A wonderful interview with an amazing woman. I could listen to her forever. Also, kudos to the interviewer; so many times they interrupt the interviewee and even answer their own questions but this fellow not only asked good questions but let her answer. Well done !

I just love Frances and identify with her experiences in Italy. Her prose IS poetic and the books simply lovely and brimming with luscious imagery. Italy is a place like no other...her soul whispers everywhere.

reading Under the Tuscan Sun again after many years which has led me here, Frances is so easy to listen to, how she sees things and how she communicates them either by the spoken or written word is deep and lyrical

What a fantastic interview! Great interviewer and Frances is just mesmerizing. I didn’t ever want this interview to end. She is a great story teller. She really gripped me with her tales. I too, am taken with Italy, just a bit further south in Abruzzo. I dream of moving there. I dream of writing there. She truly is living my dream life. This interview has really inspired me. And that part about being told you “shouldn’t” do something....well she really described me perfectly. Thank You Frances.❤️❤️

what she says about us and our land is SO lovely. We tend to not get along very well with ourselves as a Country, and what she says in her charming way is what we should stick to, to really find ourselves as a people. Cheers from Tuscany! :)

In 2 weeks, I'm visiting Tuscany to explore this achingly beautiful and mesmerizing home of the prehistoric civilization and charming people! So happy to have watched this interview. Would love to read her book and watch the movie. Frances Mayes is just lovely!

I loved her book. The irony is that what she is describing is also the dynamics and life in Latinoamerica but Latinoamericans are not romanticized and looked down upon in the USA.
