The Linnstrument and several other instruments I have (eg Hydrasynth desktop) use a fourths tuning like a bass (F is above C). Do you think this Major 3rd tuning is a better idea? I guess it is narrower so you can play two scales left-right in a 64 note square. But if you put B in the lower left you can do a C major octave in a 4x3 grid with fourths, and a C minor octave in a 4x3 box by shifting one to the right.
Amazing, i really wanna own a midi fighter 64 and i was wondering how easy is it to play scales like a piano player, my intent is to be able to play it and improvise with it like a real equal temperament instrument

Not sure if this layout is better or worse. Went with it since it was the default layout of the MIDIFighter 64. lol!
