  • In this quick overview, I show you how you can make simple drawer finger pulls without buying an expensive finger pull big that can cost typically about $100. Save yourself from using hardware that you're not in love with through this modern design. Build these with a router, a spiral upcut bit, and a cove or rounded nose bit.
    Time: 30 minutes.
You don't need a shaper origin for this, but since I have it--might as well use it. If you have a router, you can make a simple jig to hog out the initial rectangle.

“Without an expensive bit!” * immediately starts with mega expensive shaper that 99.9% of us don’t own *

Now what about in the center of those drawers? That’s my dilemma without having to cut out the hickory drawers and doors (doors are meant to appear like the drawers which is where I’m struggling to find a way to route out a hand pull without cutting clear through) in my case

That's tricky. What's the thickness of the doors? Hardwood?

But the shaper will cost me 3000. Can you demonstrate using regular router and bit that would be nice

True true! You could buy a lot of fancy bits for 3k. I have a few projects upcoming but maybe I'll make a short video soon and show how it can be done with a jig and not that darn shaper origin. Thanks for watching.
