adam link I think you mean : “ I fly the pmdg 777 a lot, it is a amazing piece of machinery, I recommend this to anyone who loves planes, they will love this? ?
I am an Airbus A320 simmer. I have no idea about Boeing systems .And first time I got the PMDG B777. I saw that it's so complicated and I can't even find the battery switch to power on the aircraft...i have to admit that Boeing and airbus has completely different systems
mrwilson thanks for the start up and take off video finally got the plane in the air and flew great how ever i dont know what i did when put in the arrival every thing half way to EGGLL the rout erase and the plane had nothing to followhow do i add the detination
Remember before you load fuel, turn on R/H Hyd pump to pressurize the brake system, and set the parking brake,or you will never get the chocks out, when the aircraft settles. You can then turn the pump off.
Enjoyed the simulation. Had me second guessing the flap setting when I thought you said "flaps two five" rather than "flaps to 5". Were you a little late on the flap retraction? Thanks again for the video.
I used TOPCAT. Its data for the 777 is certainly questionable. Also I've recently learned (from Airline2Sim's new 777 training videos) that when using TOPCAT for the 777, it's advisable to pay attention to its thrust calculation and not the assumed temperature calculation; e.g. if it said something like temp 69 with N1 93%, rather than entering 69 in the sim, just play around with numbers until you find a temp that ends up giving 93%.
The biggest problem with 777-200LR from PMDG is that there is no 2D cockpit view. Aircraft itself taking a lot of RAM and my PC can not handle this at all. Bad weather, Vatsim, other traffic, EGLL and 10-12fpm... nightmare.. But anyway.. great tutorial how to make it :)
I usually use PFPX, but I also sometimes use SimBrief. Flight planning for the Airbus and Boeing is exactly the same no matter which application you use; the flight planner is really just looking at your route and determining how much fuel you need to bring based on the weather and how heavy the aircraft is.
+Zain Abidin If you hold down the 'menu' key on the CDU, it will bring up the menu and you can turn on the ground power connection from the 'FS ACTIONS' menu.
Yeah, it's an engine thrust de-rating thing (to save wear&tear on the engine if full thrust isn't necessary to get the bird safely off the ground), not really a reflection of real outside air temperature.
You mean to make the view go up to the overhead panel? I'm using EZDok Camera addon to control the camera, so I have a joystick button set up with it to move up to that view I've defined.
Engine #2 is the right engine, engine #1 is the left engine. I started the right engine first, so based on what you're saying I did start the correct engine first, yes?
Very impressive! I fly the B777 at UAL.
Thank you very much for the beautiful and useful description :-)
You well brother!but you need smooth takeoff.
Great video...I fly the pmdg Boeing 737_800, now this gives me a reason to fly the b777..Thanks alot
29:39 u didn’t turn late u were just really fast turn speed is usually 5-10 knots ground speed
i fly the pmdg 777 alot is amazing pice of tool i recon it to anyone who loves planes and will love this one

Until FS2020 haha, can’t wait for the 777 in MSFS

You should run the clock in the takeoff, in addition a lot of 777 pilots open the hydraulic panel straight away
That was very helpful, thank you !

This video really helped me alotThanks a bunch
What did you use to find your Assumed Temperature? 69 seemed very high...even for those GE90's.

Loved your takeoff !! Which flight yoke system are you using ?
I use the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. Not exactly realistic for the Boeing airliners, but definitely an all-around good piece of hardware!
capt. I think you forgot to switch on the clock, the flight time. hahaha....anyway nice video. Gonna subscribe now
can i ask which hardware do you use for throttle and yoke for your sim... I know its not related with the video but I just need a suggestion... thanks
I use the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS setup.
Good one!
Just a correction. Prepar3d isn't associated with Microsoft Flight Simulator 10....
+DrWodka619 Not associated with (although the starting point was the FSX code), but very much the "spiritual successor" in my mind.
Question, what addon or mod are you using?
My ext power isnt turning on. Any help?
Did you solve?
thanks
What is that strange noise on background?
Nikolay Klimchuk ground crew vehicles
hey what did you use for the planning i use simbrief for A320 but the boing seems more complicated
I usually use PFPX, but I also sometimes use SimBrief. mrwilsox thanks for the reply I use simbrief I am probably not paying attention that it had all the information thanks for all and love your video
when i chose cold and dark, all the ground connections disappear. so don't have any electric power
+Zain Abidin If you hold down the 'menu' key on the CDU, it will bring up the menu and you can turn on the ground power connection from the 'FS ACTIONS' menu.
setting when startup the prepar3d cockpit arrives, how a plane is off???
Yes, you want to look in the documentation about "panel states." I have my default panel state set to "cold and dark".
love the video!! amazing work man Thanks!! cant wait for my first flight with the pmdg777
69 C isn't that like 158 F?
Yeah, it's an engine thrust de-rating thing (to save wear&tear on the engine if full thrust isn't necessary to get the bird safely off the ground), not really a reflection of real outside air temperature.
Which game is this?
Prepar3d v2.5, with the PMDG 777 add-on.
whats you pc spec
How to retract/extract the Gears??
The G key is the default binding. You can also click on the gear lever in the virtual cockpit.
Do you use Chase Plane?
When this video was made, I was using EZCA. But now I use ChasePlane.
Thanks for quick response. Excellent video btw.
my vs speed didnt match :(
+Sergio Gomes My speed always is a goodspeed ;)
what did you press in 1:21 please
You mean to make the view go up to the overhead panel? I'm using EZDok Camera addon to control the camera, so I have a joystick button set up with it to move up to that view I've defined.
mrwilsox oh cool thanks for replying
wow its not an animation i guess
Magu wmavh
Kann man das noch auf Deutsch haben😂
first
Started to wrong engine first, you start 2 then 1, it’s a Delta procedure
Engine #2 is the right engine, engine #1 is the left engine. I started the right engine first, so based on what you're saying I did start the correct engine first, yes?
Just quick question, how you can have view motion like that. What addon shouldne use?
I use EZDok for controlling views (www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=ezdockcam)
thank you.... thats help...
What is you add on for the push back car?
GSX
@@racingmars i cant install it
@@itzallpa3813 If you're having trouble with it, probably check with the company that makes it for support: www.fsdreamteam.com/products_gsx.html
