In 1965 I was watching a short film, about advanced technology, that promised, "By the year 1969, every home in America will have a video phone". It eventually surfaced but in 1989 (20 years late!) and STILL it did not catch on! Of course, now we have Zoom, Skype, Tik Tok, FaceBook Video Chat, etc. Far less user control and not with the hilarious "banner" feature that covers you from the waist down if you're answering a call just out of the shower! Who would trust the banner, anyway, since today's device can watch you even when you think it's turned off?!
