Actually the implementation is terrible. It still doesnt have a conversational flow as per my understanding from the demo. Also response are screen based steps and popups which defeats the purpose of how you would typically interact with Siri. Most time with voice assistant you wont be looking at the screen.

Still doesnt have it. You will soon realize once you start using it. Conversational capabilities are limited. The whole concept of prompting whether something needs to be sent to ChatGPT is also ridiculous. Just let people choose which AI engine they want to use in the backend.
Are they finally going to stop the Lock Screen from changing if you touch the screen for longer than a second lol. Or finally stop music from opening when connected to Bluetooth or after podcasts were paused. Fix the basic stuff first Apple. Edit: That iPhone mirror feature, while cool is gonna be another way to hijack someone’s phone or gain access to it.

These new features are mostly eye candy. As for the improvements to Siri? The proof is in it's ability to make a phone call. The old voice recognition was flawless, Siri can't make a phone call 1/2 the time. Even though the number is in my contacts. So frustrating. Siri just plain doesn't interrupt most of what is said to it accurately.

Of course this crap requires an iPhone 15 Pro. 🙄 Because the Neural Engine part of the chips they've been shipping since the iPhone 8 has apparently been useless. And the fact that they made a big deal about securely passing queries along to cloud servers when on-device couldn't handle it is apparently also pointlessly gatekeeped behind "need the newest!"
Thanks for the helpful summary. As expected: lots of features which many of us won't use. No plan to address serious business-use shortcomings in iOS and macOS. So much for Apple being serious about business users. Lots of graphics, emoji, kiddy-features. Not much of substance for getting real work done.
I’m starting to look like my grandma… I’m can’t keep up w all these updates 😂😂😂
yup
I can, they are meh overall, I like Apple intelligence though
Me too
Damn streaight - I felt like this since a young lad!
This is basically what I always expected from Siri

In accessibility settings, you can turn on extended voice isolation for even BETTER enhanced dialogue for those of us who are DHH.
This has been a very interesting update overall, especially with more customizing

I bought the iPhone 14 - already cannot update AI features - sucks.
Good for me 👍🏻
Hopefully they bring it to other devices like some of the features could definitely run on the 14
Especially the writing tools summaries, notifications with Siri most of it could be added as well but we’ll see
I'm sorry dude.. thanks for letting peeps know!

Definitely excited for the iPhone mirroring and the dark mode icons and larger icons as well as the additional tap back emojis. :-)
Not even iPhone 14? Really??

Yours :)

Thanks for the updates. Do you think the iPhone mirroring will work with an iPad? That would allow me to play my iPad games on my Mac. Thx.
Now that the Apple password app is separate, I’d love to see a review between that and 1password.
Would be nice if Apple allowed us to choose which new features in iOS we actually want installed vs. getting it all and wasting space on my device.
I don’t really get the appeal to control my iPhone within macOS. Most of the apps I use on my phone I can use in macOS
