So I’ve been using the alarm since Jan 2020. It’s great. Great customer service. Also great that they give you money to buy new equipment. I just bought three new door/window sensors.

Lol I did same thing, I had to rename one of my sensors because the window I was going to place it on was screwed shut. This was a great review.

That was a great video! Love that the nice music was not to loud to hear what you were explaining.
Also, just a note that some towns have a permit for the police to answer your security system calls. In my town, it is $25 per year. There is also a fee for false alarms and a fine for having a security system without a permit. Just check with your police non-emergency number or online, to know what your town requires.

Have you needed to replace any batteries since you’ve owned? My concern is that the sensors batteries will die too quick.

This was a really great unboxing and setup. I saw Cove advertised on Facebook. Seems very efficient but is it effective? Great walk through. How has the system treated you?
A motion sensor, cellular network/wifi and the panel is basically all you need for the burger to fail

I am a little leery of all of these wireless systems after seeing the RUclips video by the LockPickingLawyer [935] SimpliSafe Alarm Bypassed With a $2 Device From Amazon

To be honest nothing is 100% secure nothing will be so don’t let that deter you.
Always add a dog to any security system.
What if you have several doors and windows, do you get to name or rename to the correct location of your sensors? Thanks
How did you name the devices?
It's ok I got it, thanks. I don't like the fact that you can' customize the name, like Simplisafe.
I named each one by the room they are in. So the window in my sons name I would say “Braxton’s Window” “Dining Room Window” etc..
@@SouthernMom i couldn't name them like i wanted, i had to use the prenamed list, so how did you customized the naming?
@@qasion it’s been a while since I set these up, but I’m pretty sure I was on the phone with them setting up the names? I would give Cove a call and request them to manually change the names for you if you are unable to on your end. Hope this works!
@@SouthernMom Shame on you :-) Actually, I did call them,,the agent pointed me to the Edit Name, but it was the same, it took me to the list. So my client has to live with it.

Does the system run off WiFi?
Great Question! The cameras they offer from YI Technologies do require WiFi to connect (they aren't part of the actual system though) The main system runs completely off of an AT&T Cellular Connection and does not require Wifi! Hope this helps!
Is it something I would need to add to my att plan or is it included with the kit?
jeremey wright no it’s included.. no need to add to your plan 😊 it just runs through the box.. it’s really easy to setup and nothing you need to add on to your phone or anything. I’m still loving the system and have had no issues.

Has anyone got the camera from them??? Also I heard using the app is horrible and laggy that they need an update their software but hasn’t done it..I’m thinking abt cove or simpli
