@@lv2bsnwbrdn520 i saw them regularly and stand by my statement. This I believe is the apex of their trajectory. They've obviously taken quite a dive since then.
To me it's like a reality check when I go to a live concert or show. After being stuck in the same routine and feeling like a robot. Musicians humanize me.
I have been to a ton of shows. Hands down Ministry was the best I ever saw. The loudest band period........... NO SHIT. I was the designated driver in Toronto. After the show, we all got in the car and my equilibrium was so rattled I could not drive for a half hour afterwards. I saw them 5 times and would see them another 5. Even if Uncle Al was older than Rod Stewart. Paul Barker was stellar.
Lallapalooza II in Charlotte with them playing after Ice Cube and Soundgarden. The only thing which could have competed with Ministry’s show that day would have been for The Red Hot Chili Peppers to have come out with 10 foot flames shooing out of the tops of their heads! Well, that happened and it still didn’t upstage the Almighty Ministry. 3 giant bonfires with maybe 500-2000 people in each whirlpool mosh pit around the fires with clothes, blankets, pizza boxes, you name it flying above the fire swirling with the rotation of the pit. 1000 Doc Martens stomping the ground in time. Stigmata ripping out of the PA and open eye surgery on the big screen, Uncle Al holding court over the whole thing, was, and still is, an untouchable and nearly unbelievable experience. Beyond religious. Beyond organic. Beyond heavy. We were leveling firefighters who were running in to put out the fires. We stole their extinguishers and shot them into the air. Those poor guys abandoned their mission quickly. How are a handful of firefighters gonna compete with a few thousand possessed goth metal kids in the prime of primes letting it ALL out, and fuck all to any trying to end it. Can you tell it left an impression? I’ll ever forget looking over my shoulder at the big screen with Al and his demonic mic stand of skeletons and skulls menacingly casting their stare over the proceedings. Once in a lifetime.
One of the things I get from the stage performance with the water bottles spraying, is that everything the band is doing is "well grounded", otherwise it would be a "short" concert.
Oh yeah, I don't like to drink or do anything that would take away from me absorbing all I can. I like to be completely alert and attentive. If I could could take notes as if I were in school.
i have a general rule for myself that i'll be sober to see a band if its my first time seeing them but if ive seen them before then i'll probably be tripping balls lol
You say what you want when you want. Don't think I don't notice when you change the words "in accordance to an awesome nature." I got that from my other daddies. I want to cry.

How is it that you know me more than anyone?! WTF is happening?! Either my life has already been written or I should just go get my fix. Which is this and A fix of Mortiis.
Killer band! I saw them @ the Roseland in Portland, Or. Full house. It was the Americkkkant tour. The base hit you hard! One of the most memorable shows I've been to and I've lost count of how many I've seen. 🤘
Okay i saw them live in 2016 or 2017 and it was the most amazing experience +my first joint lmao the singer handed it out to the guys in the front frick the whole tent smelled like that magical grass

Sounds like an American thing. By the way, there are a lot better ways to humanize oneself. All the best.

Seen this tour. Was so badass …and the loudest show I’ve ever heard. The bass was deep
Mike's face during "NWO" 😢
The screaming sample from that song still hits a nerve that you can't itch...
Wonder where the sample is from? It’s gnarly creepy 🤡☠️👐🏻

Great stuff!!!
You may be cool but you'll never be mid-90s Al Jourgensen singing the last verse of So What.
Golden age of ministry
I was a little kid when this tour was happening, I'm sad I missed it

Beautiful fuckin' poetry !!!
I was there and this description is 100% accurate and spot on!
Ditto in Dallas that year. Same exact experience. I've never seen a mosh "typhoon" grow that quickly.
Canada Russ here, i write like this when im 3 sheets into a 3 day bender. Lol.. beautiful..
Same tour. Bremerton Washington. Ice cube got booed off the stage. Soundgarden and Pearl Jam were great as well
That drum loop on NWO though. Yowza, Uncle Al the exalted.
BADASS, thanks 4 uploading \m/

Way way before their time
Fall/winter 1991. NYC post Japanese crash. Middle East ramps up.
What's up with the bottled water? Is this Ministry or Gallager?
