I enjoy my Go Press and foil. I put the cardstock shims on top of the plate so they don’t need to be heated as well. I learned a lot of tips with this machine wanting Stacey at Scrapbooking Made Simple.
I must be lucky I haven’t had a problem with the switch …. But I also have the spellbinder and love it …… you have inspired me to use my foil machine . Thank you
I love your enthusiasm and wonderful spirit. I bought the GoPower die cutting and embossing machine and ABSOLUTELY love it. I thought I would never retire my cuttlebug but this machine had me sold on the first pass. Cuts and embosses like a dream and best of all, I can use my cuttlebug plates in it as well. Win win! I was gifted the Go Press and Foil though I have been a little nervous to use it but after seeing your enthusiasm and great demo - I think I can now do this! I bought the Glimmer first but it was just way too awkward pulling it out then putting it into the embossing machine. So I bought the GO Press on HSN a few years ago because of the hinged top...helps keep the die and paper on place! Love GO Pro!!!!!
You now, I've been wanting a foiling machine but I never know which one cause they seem complicated. But this one seems very cool and less complicated from what I've seen before, thanks for sharing :)

Excellent video! I have a Go Press and Foil and watched your video as a refresher because I haven’t used mine in awhile. You followed the manual, explained in detail how the machine works, and demoed several samples. I can relate to having a cold craft room and surprised to hear about your issues with the Spellbinders Glimmer. Glad I didn’t purchase that one but I have no reason to because I love my Go Press and Foil. Thanks again for a well done video!

What a good surprise, didn’t know you could still find the AG version of this. Do you have any of Anna’s Impression dies? They work great using the foiling techniques and they cut. Give it a try and let us know.
Thanks for sharing!! You can buy a solid hot foil plate to use the left over foil. Pinkfresh studio, and spellbinders have them and this way you get two different looks!!
just got it and love it. I have the gemini and did not want to invest in a retired machine. so got this one and it works with my cuttlebug. does the magnet supose to come off the twizzers mine is not glue to it?. mine did not come with any dies so you got an amazing deal with yours.

Thanks 😊 The platform does NOT work in the Empress. You need the Couture Creations Go Power and emboss or the spellbinders platinum 6 or sizzix big shot, something like that with a large opening. As soon as I get back in the craft room I can get a measurement. But guessing it's about 6"x9"x 1/2"
I just bought mine off market place and the woman told me it new she never used it, I can clearly see it has been used, and I have a metal conversion plate in mine that is bent, should it be bent?
I’m trying to work this out . This is different from the minc, isn’t it. Can you die cut these images after you foil them or do they have to be fussy cut out. You and I bought out the hsn go power replacement plates.
The minc by heats up laser printer toner and uses pressure to adhere the foil. The Go Press and Foil uses a foil stamp, heat, and pressure to adhere the foil. You need different types of foil for the minc and Go Press and Foil. Some foil stamps come with cutting dies and some don’t. The latter maybe fussy cut or scanned and cut if you have a Brother Scan and Cut.
I don't have a minc machine, so I'm not familiar with how it works. This machine works with the big shot, spellbinders platinum, and the couture creations cut and emboss machine. Does NOT work with Anna Griffin Empress machine. Hopefully this helps

Any chance you can use Anna griffin minc foil machine with pink fresh hot foil plate where you have to insert it in the minc. Thsnks
I don't have a minc machine, so I'm not familiar with how it works. This machine works with the big shot, spellbinders platinum, and the couture creations cut and emboss machine. Does NOT work with Anna Griffin Empress machine. Hopefully this helps
