Germany has many nice cities spread out. The UK has only one great city, London. The rest are awful and neglected like Birmingham or Manchester. Germany has a better infrastructure and a better quality of life. I am British who used to work in Munich for 3 years.
Ok, so, 2015 was my last stay at Canary Wharf, and clearly, a heck of a lot has changed, wow, just wow! I live in Norfolk, so a world away from London, and a galaxy away from the financial district that is Canary Wharf, but I am fascinated by the place, it looks amazing at night, good work!

I much prefer areas with the classic London character and soul, but CW being so different just makes London as a whole much more varied in terms of different environments. It's like I'm on a trip to another city, but I'm still just in London.
As an American I hate canary wharf. It reminds me too much of the US. It’s like strolling around battery park in Manhattan or Brickell in Miami. London is way too classy for that. I Love the history and charm of this great city.

confused at first, then i realised that i had to walk down the line and play chicken with the traffic... amazing at double trees...no wonder people get a taxi!....not that i did...all of those private "go back to the path!...took ages to get from surrey quays where the map was the wrong way round)...to hilton....greenland dock etc...omg
And the Germans keep writing in their news outlets Frankfurt compets with London. Das ist das Britische Finanzzentrum in London. Das ist nicht Ihr Niveau. #cyberpunkcoltoure

My favourite area in London is Canary Wharf. My partner used to live in Wood Wharf Canary Wharf and just moved back to Glasgow.
