This is why I love Elizabeth so much, because no matter how many romantic relationships you started in P3FES, she was the one who loved Makoto more than any other. Pretty much everyone in SEES gave up on trying to save him from his fate after The Answer, but in P4Arena Elizabeth is still going at it, day in and day out trying to find a way to bring Makoto back to life. Where others gave up, she refuses to. That's fucking dedication.
Caliggy Jack it gets even better in P3 dancing if you read most of her dialogue and realize that she is still on her mission to save him, and wishes for them to dream and dance forever (to the point of dancing herself) so he wouldn’t have to vanish again
But wouldn't it be considered more childish to continue to be shackled to someone who is already dead? Sure it may be dedication but wouldn't it be more mature to realize that Makoto is dead and that he chose that outcome for himself, and instead of living a life trying to bring him back, you instead live a life that he would have wanted you to live? I also think that persona 3 in it's entirety is showing how people take loss and how they cope with it, so with most social links having a past loved one pass away and having issues with that that Makoto helps them with, isn't his death kinda the same for Elizabeth? Isn't Makoto dying and her response to that just another way to view loss?

You know, watching this now I’m just noticing how different a direction Tara Platt plays Elizabeth’s voice in later appearances than she did in the original game. She’s more higher pitched and emotive now. Not sure which I prefer.
