Other very affordable alcohol marker brands can give you the same blend able colors and layers. The whole medium of alcohol markers are known for its pigment, blend-ability, or non-streakiness. Also, another brand, Ohuhu, they come in bullet, board, and brush bibs just like COPICS. 3. Wide selections of colors to choose from is the same of 1 and 2. Too much colors are unnecessary and expensive. Plus you can get other markers with tons of colors. 4. ONCE AGAIN. My favourite alcohol marker brand, Ohuhu, is known so well for being so extremely cheap for its medium and yet they still compete with high end markers. AND THEY JUST CAME OUT WITH REFILS IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. Also not to mention the refils are basically buying a new marker. They’re equally expensive. Overall, just get Ohuhu. But then again there’s a reason why a COPICS have such a good reputation. They’re really good, but they bleed a lot, but that’s expected. If you’re really new to alcohol markers then buy brush nibbed Ohuhu and a few COPICS like their colourless blender, primaries, or colors you’ll use a lot.

You can make new colors so much easier than copics. You can also blend a lot easier. They’re also compatible with gouache, which allows you fix mistakes easier. You can also buy watercolor markers that can act as a replacement to copics, but still can have the benefit mentioned above. You also get multiple size brushes with different paint brushes, so you’re not screwed if you don’t like the feeling of the brush/brush size.
Copic markers are the BEST alcohol markers in my opinion but they are expensive if you can’t afford them i recommend ohuhu or ciao copic markers the cheaper version of copic they are just smaller but same as copic
Copics also smell so good like berries. It's a good alternative to Sharpies since the smell is pretty mild lol. Just don't do it a lot becuase it's still toxic.

Lemme put this into perspective about copics. One copic set's price (400 USD) can get you Ohuhu's whole set and then some. Ohuhu 320 set is 300 dollars. You can literally buy their whole brush marker set, a couple of sketchbooks, their wide markers, their multi liners and their water based markers for the same price of one copic marker set. Not knocking the quality of copic markers. but but professionals can use them because they have the money to buy them. Q ~ Q
When a set of markers costs all your furniture and house. They're great quality, and i'm not going to say they're overpriced for what you get, but they do cost a lot and to me well in my country and my currency it's an absurd to pay so much for a set of markers. If you want to buy them, i'm not stopping you enjoy your copics markers, this is my opinon.
i use copics but i don’t buy so many for art i use lots of brands but i like copics because they’re soft and easy to blend as ohuhus bleed through everything and for example i use ohohus and they bleed through the lines but whatever works best for your style is good ❤

They are good quality and ARE WORTH THE PRICE however you can get a less blend able and more bright and saturated brand for cheaper. These alcohol markers are ohuhus. They are better for comics and that style of art but the copics are WAY better for blending and are more for real artists. The copics are designed for graphic design and are better in my opinion

I mean now Ohuhu is very big and has a variety of colors they have about 320 colors and all of them cost 245$ and Copics have 358 colors and all of them cost 2,750$. Also Ohuhu has refills now and they cost way lower than Copic ink.

Yeah these weren't the best reasons seeing as how ohuhu now has the widest color range across all their sets plus so many art brands are making better markers cheaper than Copic and not only does ohuhu have separate markers you can now buy refills for the marker you already have. So pretty much I would probably not be getting copies unless they were sent to me for free😂
