Thank you for the review. My experience with both MJX trucks I have bought is that they suffer from weak differentials. So I would avoid using 3S batteries and large wheels. As long as I use 2S batteries and normal-sized wheels the differentials seem to hold.
Good to know! I do have a 3S pack to try out but will be sticking with the stock wheels. Hopefully they hold up haha. If not, I guess I have a spare right? Thanks for watching and thank you for the helpful comment!
I don’t remember if I mentioned in the video, but I think I got at least 30 minutes per pack. It’s always good to be cautious with lipo batteries. Keep the other charged pack in a cool place out of direct sunlight. But yeah charge them both and if you are near power you can charge as you swap for less down time. It’s not a bad idea to check and see how hot the motor and ESC are but I didn’t pay any attention when I shot this video and it was fine. The included charger should be good for a while but I would urge you to find some info on Lipo safety, charging and storage. I’ll make a video on it soon but there are plenty of other good sources you can check out for sooner info! Thanks for watching and feel free to ask any questions you need to!
@@albertorochareyes2427 I haven’t tried either of those yet but the Grom is definitely on my list. If you have a hobby shop local that carries parts for the Grom that could be a deciding factor. I think the Hyper Go should be faster than the Grom, but ARRMA is a big name in the hobby and you can usually find parts locally.
They do seem very similar! The differences that I can see from looking online are the batteries (like you said) and the chassis. The 16207 appears to share the same chassis and battery design as the H16BM so you will get the 1050mah hard L shaped packs that are held in with a locking mechanism. The H16PL chassis looks a little different overall, but the main thing you’ll notice is that it uses straps to secure the battery and it comes with larger capacity 2000mah 2s packs. So the 16207 will be faster thanks to the 3s pack but you’ll have to get creative when it comes to mounting other batteries. You’ll also want to buy or make an adapter for the balance port if you ever wind up using a real battery charger to charge the included packs. The H16PL will give you nearly double the run time and will be much more flexible when it comes to installing different battery packs thanks to the strap mounting system and larger capacity batteries. The downside is that it’ll be a little slower out of the box because it comes with 2s packs. I hope that was helpful!
@@Bash_TheStampedethanks. I decided to go with the 16207 as it’s cheaper, 3s included, and 80 on Ali express with three batteries. Thanks again for the info.

Much appreciated. This is the kind of advice that can only come from experience.
Nice review! Really loved the camera angles when you were out bashing 👌
Thank you very much for watching and for the positive feedback. Shooting basher videos can be tricky sometimes but I try to get in there lol.
Rc noob here...how much run time does each battery provide? U just charge both and keep one nearby to change it right? No extra caution needed.

@@Bash_TheStampede ty so much! I think what I want is a long run time, more than any power. Maybe this is the one im looking for.
@@albertorochareyes2427 Of course! This model is a lot of fun, probably my favorite out of the ones I’ve tried from MJX/Hyper-Go
@@Bash_TheStampedeHave u tried the typhon grom or rlaarlo amx12? Those are my 2 other options. Gonna be my first rc \m/

Curious to know the differences between this and the 16207. Both seem similar but the 16207 includes 3s packs and is cheaper? Thanks!
