First of all, thanks a lot for this quite valuable video. And secondly I wonder if there is any other software, besides well-known CAD software programs, which focuses just on the calculation of moments of inertia or the centers of mass of any geometry.
Hello Akay I just looked in the google play store and there is an app called massentragheitsmoment that can calculate the moment of inertia. It costs 1.43 but doesn't have all the possibilities that 3d cad-software has. I'll let you know if I find something else that can be useful. Jos
I am little dumb :-(. Could you please explain how did you arrive at radius (0.22+0.25)^2 and (0.78)^2. I must confess I watched this video in mute. I plate G=1/12 *m bar ( should be m plate)??
exactly what a ineeded! thanks you so much!
thank you very much you has helped me a lot!
Thanks! Well explained
Hey,
Do you know if it possible to get from solidworks the FIRST moment of inertia?

Hello Jos
The app seems fine. I am thankful for your attention.
Akay
how do you set the rotation axis
