It got the ProMotion, it got better front and back cameras, it got massively better battery life, it has the action button and the camera control, it even got a storage bump to 256GB base at the same launch price as the iPhone 16 which lacked every single of the above features (actually all recent base models lacked everything the iPhone 17 now has).

I upgraded from an iPhone 6s (that I replaced the screen on 3 times due to it still bending) to an iPhone 11 on launch week. I am still using it today. The A13 chip is still surprisingly fast even with the Liquid Glass update. Theres a good chance I’m gonna keep it all the way until apple stops security updates for iOS 26 😂
