The London Symphonic Orchestra backs all of their recorded music and occasionally performs with them in concert. This was one of those special concerts - at Prince Albert Hall.

I grew up listening to this group & they are one of my favorites from the 60's-80's. Love their mix of rock with classical music. They have a sound like no other band. Their most famous song is "Nights In White Satin". But they have so many great songs such as "Go Now", "Tuesday Afternoon", "The Story In Your Eyes", "Question", "Ride My See-Saw", "I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band)", "Gemini Dream", "The Voice", "Your Wildest Dreams" etc. All of their music is great! Many of their records are concept albums & meant to be listened to all at once. Sadly Ray Thomas their flute player & singer passed away in 2018 & their drummer Graeme Edge passed away in 2021.

The lead singer, Justin Hayward, wrote this song when he was only 19.

The Moody Blues are the best classic rock band to ever come out of Great Britain. I love Justin's voice.❤

The album "Days of Future Passed" is legendary. Listen to it someday if you never have. I was lucky enough to see them at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Great reaction ☮

Really, when? My ex and I and her young kids were there to see them as well. Early 90's?

@@garyarnett1220 yeah the early 90's. That place is amazing. The rocks create such natural acoustics. Should have seen other performers there but I live on the east coast. I believe the Moody Blues played there in the 80's too.

🎼Justin wrote this when he was 20 years old. The Almighty blessed this man with a power that can bring you to tears. Musically and lyrically. Your reaction is priceless.❤️

He's much older here, and his voice still stands out. The singers name is Justin Hayward, try his Forever Autumn, any of the studio versions.

the Moodies sing a lot about a higher being or about creation and nature among so many other things. they have well over 200 songs in their catalogue

I may be wrong, but I suspect he knew you were out there, and was singing the song to you. Justin David Hayward is their main singer there, but they all sing, and sing well. Beautiful reaction! Won yerself a new subscriber. Cheers!
