  • The Complete Holy Bible - NIVUK Audio Bible - 48 Galatians
    Read by David Suchet
    Quick Summary of the book of Galatians:
    False teachers have infiltrated the churches in Galatia, falsely suggesting that works of the law (specifically circumcision) must be added to faith in Christ in order for salvation to be real. In no uncertain terms, Paul condemns the mixture of law and grace, showing that salvation and sanctification are all of grace. Christ’s salvation has set us free. We rely on the Spirit’s work, not our own.
    ===
    May the Lord bless you as you listen to his word :)
    Have a blessed day!

      We are saved by God's grace thru faith in the finished redemptive work of Jesus Christ, not by our own works, so None can boast.

    This morning, 8/24/2023, the Holy Spirit led me to listen to the book of Galatians. About a week ago, while I was on the plane, I decided to watch the movie The Covenant. The part of the movie when Sarai asked Abraham to kick Haggai & her son out. And Abraham obeyed her, I was devastated for her & Ismael. I felt it was so unfair & cruel. My spirit was unsettled, I questioned GOD to why he crowned Issac but not Ismael. Today, I listened to the part when Paul explained Abraham seed with a slave woman & and Sarah, the free woman. My question was answered. Praise GOD!!!! GOD is so faithful to those who lean towards him. I'm at awe of his Grace and mercy.

    Year 2020 and I'm reeling from the last 2 years of our pandemic. Tumultuous times and looking prophetical. I thank God for bringing me back to the fold. And leading me to understand Grace. David Suchet's reading put icing on the cake. I thoroughly understand Grace now. David is my favorite reader of the Bible. 🙏 I am very very grateful.

      Truly, narrow is the road and difficult is the path that leads to eternal life and FEW find it. But broad is the road and wide is the path and EASY is the way that leads to eternal torment in hell for eternity. This is an actual Bible verse. If you're not suffering in this world, then you have to self-examine yourself. If you're not suffering, if you don't have that Target on your back when you first received Jesus Christ that made him your personal savior and you were justified by Almighty God and filled with his Ruach Ha'Kodesh that will guide you into all truth and THE THINGS THAT ARE TO COME.

    I want those who listen, hear. paul is not saying sin is permisable . Sin is disobedience to the law. Circumcision was given to Abraham but the mosaic law was given to man. So that in times to come, salvation in Christ, we could please God in obedience. The law covered sin for a time but christ forgives it. Paul goes on to say that those who continue in lawlwssness after slavation has been revealed. Have no part in Christ or do you think that those secret sins you hold dear will not seperate you from the love of Christ. They certinly will. And more so if
    you teach others the same. Go and learn what remember and keep the sabbth means. Then do it.
