Dave is a awesome guy to work with and we had a blast creating the new pan. I have been using the pan since last August and love it after a few modifications.
My question is, when will it be available and for how much? I could certainly use that type of pan at my age. You think Jeff Williams is a sloppy panner.
I ran into Dave in Vegas one time. A group of us were in town for a Lighting Conference and he was nice enough to chat with us (in passing) for about 20 minutes. That says something about a man who doesn't let discovery channel fame gone to his head! I will definitely try that pan!
For everyone who thinks Mr Terin invented a new prototype of a new gold pan, just do not know the truth. Back in the 90s when I was the first State Claims director for the GPAA, an inventer sent a few of his new prototypes. Both baby sloose box and pans. His looked exactly the same, but he used an existing pan he modified. New equipment is invented all the time by anyone with a job that needs to be done.
Tim Parkes on the computer is awesome. Anything you gotta watch when you get the roll of wire sometimes it crosses and gets stuck if you walk away it’ll start melting the box on the end of the computer will you keep an eye on your wire somehow it crosses and gets stuck when it gets stuck at melt starts to melt the plastic and the round box on the end of the computer.
The "best damned gold pan" (stupid name) almost certainly works better. The physics are superior. Square and verticle sides are just better at maintining a slury. When you want to bounce a wave off an edge, a verticle side accomplishes this more efficiently than an edge/side that is angled away from the wave.

Looks amazing!!! The show looks like you all had a lot of fun coming up with it.
What type of modifications did you make. My modification would be the entire base be covered with a silicone circular mat too.

Great job Alan!
Where, when and how much for one of these pans. Definitely interested in buying one.
Thanks!

wait until I get a patent for my invention and look out for Keene to produce it, Washington state will have to allow beach mining again.
“The Montana Magnet Pan”
Great job all around. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠⛏️🏔️🇺🇲🦅

I invented that pa 24 years ago...
The problem with 3D printed items is they are weak and break easily.
He just used the print as a mold for the silicone, also really depends on the item I printed some hooks recently that are very strong
Wonder what Trey would think
Ok I want one no make that 2
Can pan in few inches of water.
Old hat. I made one of these in the 70's from an old metal pan.
Invents is a stretch. Refines an existing, hundreds of year old design, is a better descriptor.
Nicc
Nice pan❤
That’s not an invention. It’s an adaptation..
Stop using terms incorrectly to bump up your claims..
