Some real talk here!! Avicii, is one of those mainstream edm artists who didn't give in themselves to a single formula. He is the one who brought me into edm. Levels is the first edm track I have heard and true is the first album, that I listened from front to back, and will always remain as a great artist to me!!

That made me rediscover the album, rediscover Avicii, relive the sadness of losing this great soul and musical genius, and now you release this... thank you for your interpretation and homage, and your music.

i remember exactly the day before hearing the news 3 years ago very vividly... at the time i had this wonderful dinner out w family in a place we'd been wanting to try for years, then i went to this local college theatre group's re-telling of jonathan larson's rent (*one of my fav musicals ever*) then came back home and fell asleep but before i did, i told myself "this is 1000% one of the better ones" and thats mostly cuz i did a lil more, im not the outgoing type but it was so worth it the following morning, i wake up to my phone buzzing and everyone i was following online had posted something about Avicii, i had no idea what was going and i look things up only for my heart to sink far lower than it usually does when i hear that type of news... it was then i realized i now have to live w the fact that he died on my birthday.
