I don’t care how cheesy the Showa era films were, The cheesiness just made the movies better. Also it makes me really happy to see that jet jaguar gets appreciation even to this day! This and final wars are my most favorite Godzilla films, nothing can change my mind
This is why I’m so happy to be a Godzilla fan. I felt a huge amount of joy when people were clapping to jet jaguar theme! I’m so glad he’s getting the attention and praise he deserves.
"I think I'll call him Jet Jaguar." "It suits him." My brother caught that line in the dub ages ago and it still makes me laugh. This was such a ridiculous movie and I love it. Big Action Bill just recently covered the history of this movie and it is great. If nothing else his covering the book "The Art of Being Japanese" is enough to justify watching.
My favorite Godzilla film of all time, brother and i are fans of the film, tag team action to take out the bad guys for good. Movie was made in the '70s before my brother's time and myself but watched it together on VHS back in the mid to late '80s, still a classic to appreciate a film like this especially the live reactions which made it even better. Would be nice to showcase Godzilla films in theaters today to enjoy and cheer as heard in this video. It's cool.
My mom took me to the mall to see a double matinee in 1977 w Godzilla vs Megalon and Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla at 8 yrs old...WOW. THE Megalon movie was perfect for a 8 year old and so was vs Mecha-G. Even though to this day I like Terror of Mecha G is better but Vs Mechagodzilla is right there w Terror of. Prob Masaru Sato's coolest soundscores!!!
This was such a treat to see at the Pickwick. G-Fest 2023 unfortunately picked some less than exciting movies for the double double feature. Godzilla 98 and Godzilla Raids Again ain’t it.

Most of them weren’t cheesy but a few were terribly cheesy.
The reactions to the Godzilla dropkicks did not disappoint
That whole theater was electric for them dropkicks!
Lol so many priceless reactions in this one, love the clapping to the JJ theme

The best !!!! Saw this in the theater as a child. Just amazing. Megalon needs to come back. Fantastic character design 💚💚💚
Megalon’s shrug at 4:21 needs to become a meme cause that is just too funny
Hearing people
Cheer to this movie just warms my heart! Love this film! Grew up with it!

The Japanese are very Ethnocentric. You’re Japanese or you’re Not Japanese with No Exceptions.
Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match, and still tag team champions, Godzilla and jet Jaguar!
Thanks to G-FEST, I got live out one of the things on my bucket list. Which was watching GVM on the Big Screen.😁😀
4:18 Godzilla flying out of the fire with Jet Jaguar.
Megalon: puts up his "hands" in a pose that screams "Who wrote the script for this?"

awesome audience... got misty eyed from childhood memories🥲
I’m the only person I’ve ever met that likes this film, I can’t imagine how much fun it would have been to be in a theatre full of like minded fans.
This is one of my favorite Godzilla designs.
Godzilla and Jet jaguar in mortal Kombat (1995)

Y'all talk about how crazy godzilla's dropkick is, but you don't ask how HE REVERSE DROPKICKS TO TRY AGAIN???
Thank you so much for sharing this… really.❤️

70s Godzilla forever!
So cool 😊
This is apparently one of the worst films of that era, but for some reason it was the one my local cable network aired the most back in the day.
It’s not nearly as bad as some other Showa era movies. Definitely got represented poorly from its first USA airing back

And people hate Emmerich's Godzilla but watch this trash? Come on...
This trash is thousands of times better than Emmerich soulless shit
