Guys look if shanks is blocking out mihawks observation haki with conquers I believe including him using observation and armament haki that means that mihawk is just using armament. That means that mihawk is only using armament haki to match shanks if people are saying that mihawk does not have conquers. If that is the case then mihawk is stronger than mihawk because if shanks is using all three types of haki while mihawk is only allowed to use one type that mihawk has to be busted and you are right oda is actually neefing mihawk for later arcs and I want to see more mihawk glaze is possible from Loki if he meets zoro if possible. This argument is stupid people really act like when they say swordskill they just mean finesse with the blade or something as if mihawk isn't carrying a sword the size of himself that is clearly not what they mean swordskill in one piece equates to overall all power haki included thats why mihawk is the world STRONGEST swordsman wielding the world strongest blade meaning mihawk is stronger than shanks and yoru is stronger than grifith debate over
mihawk is stronger, has better armament, is heavily implied to have future sight (his original epithet was clairvoyance, which means seeing into the future, and he was able to detect luffy's future sight). And if he does have conqueres haki, it's stronger than shank's.
@greybo4034 no What I'm saying is he said shanks has the strongest haki. I doubt the giants met joyboy. They said that was the strongest haki they felt even greater than red-haired. I'm saying that's not a feat considering the giants never met any yonko or even big mom as they were fighting on a seperate island the entire time
I think there is a fundamental flaw in your argument. Let's begin here... 1. Haki transcends all. This statement will both hold true for all characters with all sorts of different fighting styles. Meaning... for swordsmen, the one with the strongest haki will be the strongest one of them all. Am I wrong? If Shanks' haki is then superior to Mihawk, even if he has a miniscule "sword skill," he would be stronger than Mihawk. Afterall... you used Luffy and Kaido vs. Zoro as an example. Both Luffy and Kaido have basically zero sword skills but have greater haki. Hence, they beat Zoro, right? Zoro's swords skills in this case don't matter at all. I would argue the same holds true if Shanks, a swordsman, has haki greater haki than Mihawk, coupled with his swordsmanship, which is compared to Mihawk... the logic follows that Shanks should be the WSSM. But he isn't. And what does that say for Mihawk?
But some will say... Mihawk is the strongest because he has greater "sword skill" and not haki. But here, the flaw is seen again. Mihawk's "sword skills" alone will never be enough for him to be the strongest if "HAKI TRANSCENDS ALL." Haki will naturally transcends "sword skills" and hence Mihawk can not be the strongest. Shanks will be. But that will lead to a contradiction in the story. As Mihawk is the WSSM.
Again, another fundamental flaw. Haki = willpower/spirit. If being the WSSM is based on "sword skill" (or sword play alone as some in the community see it), then it practically means, as a swordsman, your willpower or spirit isn't required for you to be the strongest. Or, it matters less in your quest to be the strongest. Forget your willpower/spirit/haki and focus on "swinging your sword around better." Pre-timeskip Zoro is using the same 3 sword style as Post-timeskip Zoro. Both swing their swords about the same way. Difference techniques obviously require different swinging. In terms of swinging swords... there really isn't much difference between pre - and Post-timeskip Zoro. Has Zoro then reached his peak? Is he the strongest? How do you quantify sword play and who has the best? How does swinging your sword make you the strongest? Who will fear you if your sword technique doesn't have haki? How far will you go if your will/haki is weaker than another? Zoro told Pica he would beat him because his haki was better. We all agree Post-timeskip Zoro is stronger than Pre-timeskip Zoro. The difference isn't sword play or swinging his sword but HAKI. You NEED HAKI and at the max to be deemed the WSSM.
I'd like to point out vista and mihawk postponed their duel because this took place moments before the enclosing walls were about to go up. Mihawk sensed something strange was about to happen so he wanted to stop before they were both caught in it. That's why vista says: "that'd be advantageous for both of us" because regardless of who's side your on the magma fists attack indescriminetly and they both get screwed over by it Also akainu didn't attack shanks because he was careful about how strong shanks was, it was because marines can't just blindly attack yonkos without permission from the fleet admiral, shanks being a yonko means akainu can't just fight him without sengoku's permission, that's why nobody rashly decided to fight shanks and sengoku ultimately was the one calling the shots despite how adamant akainu is about justice and pirates
13:40 I don’t think that’s luffy using future sight. Look at the paneling. It looks like mihawk is causing luffy to see that. I think mihawk can force people to see different futures.

See when whitebeard talked about the clash of him and mihawk he clearly would have said something about the victor when they both fought but the fact that whitebeard sees shanks as his equal is clearly surprising because if shanks had lost the fight against mihawk then im sure whitebeard would have taken that into consideration..and oda stated in an sbs that shanks never really got qeaker after he lost his dominant arm.I would say mihawk = shanks and the title is given because shanks never really had the intention to be the strongest swordsman hence he doesn't have a black blade , he just has a different goal compared to mihawk who already achieved his..From mihawks pov it makes sense that he doesn't figut against shanks after he lost his arm because if he win or lose its going to be a close one and would stain his pride. Every one with the title the strongest is a power house. When Mihawk set up ever stop and look at Mihawk. All the admirals took notice. SHANKS got famous from fighting Mihawk. Also last point . LUFFFY ALSO FIGHT NO MATTER HOW STRONG THE PERSON IS. But he said Mihawk was to strong and ran from him. To run to fight 3 admirals lol.
mihawk goes out of his way to smurf in the weakest sea, just for that he can't be stronger
Jozu was 100% using haki on top of his diamond devil fruit. It definitely takes strong conquerors coating to one tap air slash that 12:43
Overall good qnqlysis:
One thing though about Blackbeard. He didn't say he wasn't ready to fight Shanks, as Shanks never offered a duel.
He said WE are not ready yet to take on YOU GUYS. He ws talkingabout his newly formed crew, vs The Red Hair's Pirates crew.
They're pirates. Shanks said since chapter 1 that there's no fairness in pirate fights. And of all people, Teach is one of the best placed to know better than to expect a fair fight against another pirate crew.
See there is no fair 1v1 when Blackbeard is involved
Isn’t divine departure a sword technique?
With the second greatest haki feat. Can mihawk use haki like that? Nope
@@uncleiroh7967 why are you so certain, iroh?
@@hollowtree9763 devine departure is only a legendary as it is because of the haki. And you relegate it to just a sword attack?
@@uncleiroh7967 I meant about mihawk not being able to use haki like that
@@hollowtree9763 because haki is about will. And mihawk has zero if we being honest
If shanks told him about luffy. Then it must mean that he met with shanks aftet being one handed.
And since mihawk dismissed him in this meeting and not the previous, maybe they fought the first time.
That way mihawk will know shanks is a "has been"
But it cld just be mihawk's ability to know the power of foes
He knows nothing lol

Shanks it’s even much more powerful and stronger than Mihawk

Damn you really think Mihawk is an absolute fraud like that? there at least close
Every top tier in One Piece is a Haki user. Show me one instance where sharks use Haki without holding or using his sword. Yall is fucking goofy if yall think Mihawk doesn't fight with Haki all mihawk has been doing is just slash slash slash named no haki no effort meanwhile shanks like to flex Haki's flexing divine departure a named attack bro how would he let his vice-captain do more dmg, Ben took his hand shanks just knock him out I bet he ain't dead. The Akainu attack was meant for Koby as fodder at that time 😂😂😂 shanks snuck up and blocked the attack, and you all gave him that many plays 😆 🤣 just wait when we see a named attack from Mihawk. Y'all rat fans are going to cry.
@@flacshlinen637You need help?
Guys look if shanks is blocking out mihawks observation haki with conquers I believe including him using observation and armament haki that means that mihawk is just using armament. That means that mihawk is only using armament haki to match shanks if people are saying that mihawk does not have conquers. If that is the case then mihawk is stronger than mihawk because if shanks is using all three types of haki while mihawk is only allowed to use one type that mihawk has to be busted and you are right oda is actually neefing mihawk for later arcs and I want to see more mihawk glaze is possible from Loki if he meets zoro if possible. And more power scaling because to me mihawk is stronger than shanks.
Shanks lost his dominant arm so I guess Mihawk just took notice
And if he does have conqueres haki, it's stronger than shank's.
correction
dorry and broggy have been battling for 100 of years they never met roger or whitebeard so them saying shanks haki is strong means nothing
They just saw shanks use his haki against kidd a while back which is why they compared the conq haki of shanks and joyboy its not that deep
@greybo4034 no
What I'm saying is he said shanks has the strongest haki. I doubt the giants met joyboy. They said that was the strongest haki they felt even greater than red-haired. I'm saying that's not a feat considering the giants never met any yonko or even big mom as they were fighting on a seperate island the entire time
Great video.
Im still team Mihawk because I think Zoro needs to beat the best, not number 2.
Forget your willpower/spirit/haki and focus on "swinging your sword around better."
Pre-timeskip Zoro is using the same 3 sword style as Post-timeskip Zoro.
That's why vista says:
"that'd be advantageous for both of us" because regardless of who's side your on the magma fists attack indescriminetly and they both get screwed over by it
Also akainu didn't attack shanks because he was careful about how strong shanks was, it was because marines can't just blindly attack yonkos without permission from the fleet admiral, shanks being a yonko means akainu can't just fight him without sengoku's permission, that's why nobody rashly decided to fight shanks and sengoku ultimately was the one calling the shots despite how adamant akainu is about justice and pirates
13:40 I don’t think that’s luffy using future sight. Look at the paneling. It looks like mihawk is causing luffy to see that. I think mihawk can force people to see different futures.
No
@ okay and? As if you have a better explanation
Shanks glazing was not as intense as others but still there a bit......haki is apart of sword fighting at the highest level.....so if "haki man Shanks" puts his haki into an attack are we saying Mihawk can't block it or stop it?
Apparently, if he uses his "god haki" with his sword, he beats Mihawk. Because that isn't swordsmanship.
Haki>DF>Weapons
I don't even think blackbeard and his entire crew will have beated Kaido abd big mom on the rooftop minus what we got, just Kaido would blitz blackbeards and his whole crew
Greatest swordman>swordman
Who wins Shanks or Mihawk debate over here
Mihawk
Shanks
World's Strongest Swordsman vs a swordsman, WSS is stronger and wins
@moonnightsnack so WB was the strongest man during marine ford?
Kaido was the strongest creature?
Garp who hates the celestial dragons is the hero of the Marines?
I can go on and on, titles don't mean shit
@@ultracrepiderian Are you like slow? Whitebeard's title was given to him during his prime, yes kaido was the strongest creature , yes garp is the hero of the marines.. just because you hate the people you work for doesn't change the things you did for your career?😂
Mihawk over shanks.
Yes we want more from mihawk in the story, and it’s fair to go off the feats we physically seen.
But Oda said mihawk is the world’s strongest swordsman.
I don’t get the debate, sure shanks is more popular but mihawk being stronger takes nothing away from shanks.
Shanks is still a yonko with territories and etc, like it takes nothing away from him.
Nobody can roll up on shanks 🤣.
And then it would totally take away zorro’s dream. If shanks was the best, shanks would be his goal.
Zorro gotta surpass shanks and then surpass mihawk, which I know none of yall want 🤣.
It’s just like dragon, we know he’s strong and capable, he’s a monkey D in his prime.
We just gotta wait and see what they do.
Just my opinion and understanding, no need to come after my heritage or anything 🤣
Shanks on the other hand just don't care. When vista was talking about mihawk he said its a dream of every swordsman to fight against him and thats the narrative of mihawk meanwhile shanks has a higher status and its not closed by the barrier of "swordsman"
@@greybo40341. You don't need to be chasing after the WSSM title to get a black blade. "Any blade can become a black blade".
2. I dont know what higher status for Shanks you're saying here but it's doesn't erase him from being a swordsman. So I don't know why that matters.
3. Kaido lost how many times? WB in his prime didn't even want to fight him. Shanks losing to Mihawk wouldn't change anything as being a yonko is more than just individual strength or win and loss ratio.
4. Mihawk CANNOT be equal with anyone. It defeats Zoro's dream. And assassinates Mihawk's character.
We don't know shi not watching
